Today is 11 August.. A very special day for all Arjunians...

So let's celebrate the milestone...

Wishing you all a very Happy 3 Anniversary of Har Yug Mein Aayega ek -Arjun.

Arjun-Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek debuted on August 11, 2012 on StarPlus at 8 PM. The show is creation of 4Lions Films production and vision of Gorky Max. Initial cast included Shaleen Malhotra as ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte, Behzaad Khan as ACP and chief of ETF Sameere Rathod, Riya Mukerjee as research specialist, Siddarth Sen as Shree, the technical expert and Ketan Karande as Chotu,the commando.

It later added three additional casts including Sheetal Shah as the ammunition specialist Ayesha Kapoor, Ritu Chauhan as Liza D'Cruz as the forensic expert and Mrunal Thakur as Sakshi Anand, investigative reporter.

Together these characters form a special crime unit called Emergency Task Force (ETF)

Arjun is not just a different crime thriller but it has a distinct style of solving Crimes that are from the most simple to the most horrendous.

This story was about Arjun's life, Arjun was a fun, loving and caring guy. But the brutal murder of his wife in front of eyes, changed him .The brutal murder of his wife in front of his eyes changes him, and then he start living a reclusive life. This crime show was based upon the story of Arjun Rawte himself who was in the quest of his Wife's killer "Sikander".

A journey which started from the schools in Lucknow and moved on to the Hindu college in Delhi both studying and doing theaters but the final destination still awaited him.

It was Mumbai the city of dreams where he spread his wings and moved towards the accomplishment of his goal ' to be a director

Finally in 2008, His wife Gul and he formed the production house named" 4 Lions Films".

Currently he is the Creative Producer of Arjun.

Gorky M- Just Few Facts

'         Gorky holds a degree in English Literature from Hindu College at Delhi University.

'         He started working on documentaries at a very young age of 18 and produced documentaries for many illustrious NGOs like the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and Aga Khan Foundation.

'         He won a gold medal at the International Video Olympiad in Brazil at the age of 20.

'         He went on to work with some of the biggest names in the Indian film industry like Subhash Ghai, Kundan Shah and Red Chillies Entertainment.

'         He has worked on five feature films and 40 ad films as an associate. He has directed over 2000 hours of content including TV, feature films, ad films and music videos.

'         He created the detective series  Krishna - Arjun

'         He turned producer in 2008 and co-founded 4 Lions Films.

'         He has directed the feature film 'Men Will Be Men', produced by Red Chillies.

'         His direction credits also include 'Humse Hai Liife' on Channel V and 'Arjun' for Star Plus for 4 Lions Films.

Through the hangout we came to know he needed to visualize things for instance he never liked chemistry as he couldn't see Hydrogen and oxygen combining but he liked literature. He also can play musical instruments like piano, harmonium, clarinet, cello

 His direction credits also include "Humse Hai Liife" on Channel V and "Arjun" for Star Plus for 4 Lions Films.

Being the creative head of Arjun it's him who makes everything on the screen look real and his impeccable direction makes the serial a must watch. Everyone remembers the first episode of Arjun the twists, the interaction between Arjun and Riya, the famous pink pen, then boat chase and of course 'Sadrak?a?aya Khalanigraha?aya' and now the Sharadh scene which had got tears to many eyes, the pain both Arjun and Sameer on losing Roshini and of course the underlying care masked by anger on both sides

He is part of discussion with the writers of the show and it is his vision on which the crux of the story is based. Be it Arjun Suryakant' s Rawte and his pain of losing his wife Roshini Rawte or his equation with Riya and now Sakshi .The friendship turned sour between Sam- Arjun or  personal stories of Chotu, Shree and Ayesha  each of the characters live in Gorky's head. When an episode is written, it is through his guidance and visions that these characters have their interpersonal relationship scene presented to us.

Arjun as a TV series is one of its kind with the right blend of action, emotion, drama, thrill and message associated with every episode. Making each episode different from the other means new locations, new supporting actors, another story .With all these to be taken care , shooting of the episodes is in itself a task as there isn't a fixed location or set for it. In spite all these barriers Gorky and his team has given us a mystery to crack every weekend and of course a thought to ponder on .In addition to these the Suraksha Chakra is the need to today time where they reach out to the wider audience and give tips to manage any emergency situation along with being vigilant .

Arjun- Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek, a one of its kind action thriller, that was created with a vision of not just entertainment but also with thought of spreading message be it of human failures, interpersonal relationship that thrive in situations that seem unlikely and how men and women in uniform live their life on duty and outside it.

(Being very honest this all information about Gorky Max... is credited to Arjun 2 anniversary thread. Because I really don't know anything about him... So take it from there. Hope you all won't mind.)

Arjun is a rebellious cop with no nonsense activity. Arjun is a good-looking charming guy with brilliant analytical skills. 'Brave as a lion and shrewd as a leopard..' He is manipulative and shrewd when it comes to nailing smart criminals.. He never underestimates them; in fact, even appreciates their intelligence at times.. But he knows just when and how to go in for the kill

He would be a perfect police officer if he doesn't have zero tolerance attitudes towards criminals, which often makes him cross the line, followed by his non-adherence to rules and violent reputation. The brutal murder of his wife in front of his eyes changes him, and then he start living a reclusive, mysterious and enigmatic life. Since his childhood he wants to become a police officer, to serve his county, his nation. But his father has always disowned him, he wants Arjun to become an industrialist, and at the end he has to leave his family. Because of his father's disagreement towards his profession.

hence he has a soft corner for young people who follow their heart and live life on their own terms..  

Sameer And Arjun:

They were best friend and best buddies, though we officially haven't seen any scene of them, but their flashbacks speak their friendship itself, they were like brothers, and lovingly Arjun used to call Sameer "Sam".

 Roshni Arjun Rawte:

Roshni and Arjun met through Sameer, She walked into his life and swept him off his feet. Arjun fell in love with her and later proposed marriage to her, they loved each other immensely, roshni has become Arjun's life, he's only family. But she was snatched away from him, brutally murdered, in front of his eyes. Plunging him into despair and heart-wrenching guilt for the rest of his life...

Arjun start living a reclusive and enigmatic life, he start keeping distance from colors, happiness and beautifulness, it always remind him of her, she always get obsessed whenever he seek anything which remind  him of her, His life has started pricking him, like a thorn. Seeking revenge for his wife's brutal murder is the sole purpose of his life and is probably the only weak nerve the strong cop possesses.

Arjun was a rebellious cop, and he has won his team member's love and support because of his sharp skills, but still they were feared o him because of his zero tolerance and short tempered, and his unnecessary outburst,  he was  a never off duty police officer...

Arjun was a sharp, arrogant and rude cop, but he respects his team members a lot, he was never a team man, initially he didn't use to cooperate with anyone much, but slowly and steadily he started to cooperate with them, helping them, Be it lending a ear to Chottu as he narrates his tragic childhood or appreciating Shree for having cracked a tough nut, or helping Riya overcome her fear of shooting. He has understood that they are the only he has left with...

Initially Rathore was never happy with Arjun as a second in command of ETF, because Rathore was man of principles and Arjun is entirely different, though Rawte and Rathore also had a lot argument because of their uncooperative nature for each other, but they also had started to respect each other. 

His respects Ayesha's abilities for being the responsible cop she is and never once rebuked her when she taunted him for having ruined her cover... His guilt on being responsible for Sakshi getting shot made him display a soft side of him, which he often keeps under wraps...He seldom let his personal differences with Rathore get in the way of their work, and together as a team, they're formidable...

Arjun love kids and cutting chai, these were the only things, which can sometimes melt his heart, or minimize his anger.

 "Shaleen Malhotra as ACP Arjun Rawte"

Shaleen Malhotra.. The handsome, charismatic man with a sparkle in his eyes plays the role of ACP Arjun Rawte.. None could have fit into his shoes as well as Shaleen does..

Gorky Max selected Shaleen for this role, because he also thinks that he was perfect for this character, As the Creative Head, Gorky had once said, Shaleen possesses a certain body language which is Arjun-like.. Be it the 'eyes that speak', the no-nonsense attitude he carries off flawlessly, the penchant for action and adventure or 'the clenching' of the jaw'& 'spinning the pen' as they are known as, are traits he has contributed to the character...

Shaleen and Arjun shared a lot of similarities as well as dissimilarities, similarities like intense, compassionate, patriotism, very much observant, deep thinking, focused determined etc. So he don't have to switch on for the character or have to get out of it, it was the difference of costumes. And a big difference was that Shaleen was a very jovial, loving and caring guy. And his Adorable laugh, everyone knows his "Gandi Beemari". While Arjun smile very less, he wasn't so friendly, frequent or jovial with anyone.

Sameer Damsingh Rathore, the chief of ETF. .A man of principles...a cop who goes by protocols and would adhere and abide by them at all costs!

Things that could set him on fire were the plight of innocent people and ill treatment of women!

 The episode wasn't complete until we hear "Dammnit Rawte" Initially we used to hear "Your wrong Rawte" which was slowly changed into "You're right Rawte" as the walls between the duo cops were melting, as chottu said "Wo bhi ek Zamana tha". And until Arjun said " Kuch to choot raha hai Rathod".

Sameer Rathod is a very active cop, with no nonsense attitude, he was a sharp, he also has a soft corner and respect for his team member, Shree's weird jokes weren't complete without Rathore like once shree said his trade mark dialogue "Dammnit" on which he was treated with Rathore's hardest glare, when Sakshi used to tease Arjun the scene wasn't complete until Rathod smile on her crazy antics and leg pulling.

Sameer and Ayesha, because Sameer Rathod was Ayesha's Rathore Sir. So we had named the couple "Raesha". The fans have always waited for Sameer and Ayesha's chemistry to begin. They shared a friendly chemistry, having coffee or dinner together, Rathod's care side for her, or his respect for her because of her daring and workaholic nature.  

Sakshi has always tried to push them forward in their relation. "Ayesha mene tumse kitni baar kaha hai ki Sameer ko le ka thoda serious hojao, tum ho ke meri baatein sunti nahi hoo,Dekhna jab ye chaya, tumhare sameer ko pata ke, uda ke , le ke jayiegi na. Tab tum bus use dekhti rehna."

Behzaad was perfect for Sameer Damsingh Rathod, and he has won millions of hearts, no episode was complete without Rawte-Rathod sessions . He is inevitable to the team as well as to the show! 

Ayesha Kapoor, she entered as Nadia in the show, a dancer and a drug peddler, ETF was searching for her as a criminal but everyone was shocked when they came to know that she's an undercover police officer, and soon she joins ETF as well, she was a workaholic, very hard working and daring lady, she was a strong and fierce police officer, not fear to voice her opinions in front of anyone either Rawte or Rathod.

Though she wasn't much friendly to anyone initially, that's why shree and chottu never liked her attitude, she was being very reserved with anyone, but slow and steadily she also get mingled with everyone,. The leg pulling and betting sessions of Shree and Ayesha, chottu and Ayesha were always being travelling friends, going here and there on his bike, being friendly and obedient to Rathore and  admiring Arjun's work and his intelligence. In the beginning she use to pull Sakshi's leg a lot whenever she had being taunted or scold by Arjun. But then they were being best friends, as Ayesha has always supported Sakshi or to make her realize of her mistakes. 

Shital Shah has fantastically portrayed Ayesha Kapoor, she is the "Lady Dabbang" of ETF, and whenever it comes to Ayesha Kapoor as Nadia they first thing was "Action". The way she was fantasbulously perform every action was spectacular. 

Sakshi Anand a cute, bubbly, beautiful and chirpy, she stepped into ETF as a investigative journalist, deputed into ETF to make public aware of ETF' hard work. Yet her professions sounds serious and sharp, but she was different which has added a twist in track, she has won many hearts through her smile. Her smile could melt stones. She wanted Arjun to relive, to smile, to make him understand the value of his life.

She was brave and daring enough to put her life in danger to save another innocent life though that didn't come into the realms of her duty. She is the fun loving kind of girl who faces every problem bravely without a frown. 

 However she was a strong girl, a mystery girl. She has always hide her sorrows with a plastered framed smile, but this girl was also a sorrowful past, no one in the ETF was aware about that. There were small hints to it but nothing much was explored leaving a big question mark on what it was. It was something concerning her totally paralyzed father but we didn't get to see what her background story was and why she landed up in ETF. Her mission in ETF remained under wraps till the very end.

Shree, Sakshi and Chottu, they were best group buddies, always mocking, teasing and pulling each other's legs. Though Miss Sakshi fell in love with Arjun but she was always irked with his rude nature and arrogance. Arjun always used to frown at her childish antics and not so serious nature, but this girl has helped ETF a lot of times in solving cases. 

Slow and steadily Arjun also start appreciating Sakshi and her work, and in the last few episodes, he started sharing a personally and eternal bond with her, sharing his past, his sorrows and his pain with her... 

Mrunal Thakur herself loved her character as Sakshi personally, because she said that Sakshi was like Mrunal; bubbly, naughty, chirpy and fun-loving. She was playing a investigative crime reporter but she wished to do action sequence in Arjun. She has portrayed the character so well that now it is impossible to even think that any girl could replace her.

Getting information off the Internet is like taking a drink from a fire hydrant. 

And when you are "the" IT boy of Emergency Task Force, you know you've signed your life away.

From tracking a criminal to gunning them down, he does it all.

 A genius tech expert, a remarkable and probably the youngest ETF member, funny, playful yet compassionate.. meet our ETF tech expert, Sreekanth Sen urf Shree.

Shreekant Sen was 24 hours surrounded by gadgets, or you'll find him sitting on his cubical and tracking criminals. Shreekant Sen was also a important member of ETF. No case would be solved without Shree. Episodes seems to be boring or dull without our Shreekant Sen...

The episodes weren't complete until Shree cracked a joke with chottu Sakshi or Ayesha, to add more fun Shree and Ayesha used to bet like kids on Arjun. Shree was a daring guy also, only he along with Chottu has the dare to spy on ACP's with their lady love...

If you ever ask Shree to define Arjun in one word that would definitely be "Khadoose". No doubt, Arjun was the only Khadoose in his life, But Arjun always need shree to recover very much important information for the case, it might be tracking someone's location, credit cards information or making a fake identity. And whenever in a case someone is need for a disguise the first person that comes into Arjun's mind would be "Shree".

He might be the cutest nerd in town, but he is an amazing human being as well. He might joke around a lot, but we did get to see his vulnerable and emotional side when Riya died. We were left awed when in one of the episodes; he showed compassion with physically disable patients in a hospital.

And he is obsessed with gadgets. Why? Well, first he is a techie, and techies love their gadgets more than their own children.

Apart from that, there will be a backstory of his family, his struggle and why he became what he is now

 Shree was always irritated of Lisa ETF's forensic expert, they always had competition in their work, whenever they are around they always use to fight and mock each other. We have always seen sparks flying between them; they were miles apart from each other. 

As far now, all we know is that they went to the same college. They were rivals, always fighting for the 1st position. Even in ETF, we'll see them glaring at each other or delivering a sarcastic comment or two; which is, in my opinion, a treat!

She calls him "Specky Sen" which irritates him the most, and everyone make a fun of it. A nerdy tech with gadgets and a gorgeous forensic expert with scalpels; how cute! We always wish to see their chemistry, they were totally different but opposite attracts, a geek and a forensic expert, it would be a deadly combo.

Siddharth Sen has played the character of Shreekant Sen and every Arjun admit it that no one could do justice with the character as he has done, his cute faces, naughty antics, childish behavior with Rathod and the frown at Arjun which literally change into a proud emote" Mere Qabil Dost Arjun Sir". Nothing could be done better than Siddharth, he has always glued us to our screens.

Chottu the commando of ETF, chottu is a muscular man, our Pehalwaan. His heart was bigger than his body; chottu was only foodie in ETF. Where there is food there is Chottu. Chottu was also a very important part of ETF, he has always helped In solving cases through his informers.

If someone could know that this muscular man is named "Chottu" and that person will be amazed, but that makes attracts him. His body size don't speak his body language. Chottu was a sweetheart; and he used to share his moments with his cutie pie puppy, or eating.

No one could believe that this commando was in a love with a 11:30 wali who used to shop Sunday to Sunday at 11:30, he didn't knew her name, nor he has seen her before. It was love at the first sight. And we never knew who was that girl...

Chottu was a very serious person when it comes to his duty, he has always respected his female officers, and what could angry him was an ill treatment to them. He was   sweetheart and we love him a lot...

Liza D'cruz is the forensic expert of ETF. She digs out evidences and clues from the specimens and blood sample collected from the crime scene. She is smart, bubbly and confident..

She has an amazing rapport with the entire team and bonds well with the other ladies in the team as well!

But her chemistry with Shree stands apart right from her entry episode!

She is Shree's college mate..no no not friends any day!..They could kill each other before accepting that they share a friendship bond...

Friendship would run miles away from what they share with each other..They always stood as rivals competing for the first place in college.In ETF, nothing changes that trait in both!

Friendship, Enmity, Hatred, Love...or may be a blend of all that in incorrect propositions...perhaps yes, thats what they share!

She keeps addressing him as Specky Sen just to annoy him and she succeeds in it as well..They complement each other with snide sarcastic remarks and never leave a chance to taunt each other!

Both are always at loggerheads and every conversation ends in an argument of sorts..

Their nhok jhoks are a real treat to watch and keeps the fans wondering when and how these strong headed intellectual logger heads would eventually fall in love? They seem to share a thin line of love hate relationship!

"Will they ever fall in love? Or are they already in love but yet to realize it??" these are other big questions.

And if yes how would their equations and chemistry change..However it happens, it would definitely be a treat..absolute and perfect treat!

Ritu Chauhan plays the role of the forensic expert Liza and she carries it off perfectly fitting every requirement that the role demands from her.

She isn't a new face to television..She has acted in shows like Yahan Ke Hum Sikander as Ranjana, Mein Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki as Ronika!

Though not into direct field work and hard core investigation, she is an inevitable part of the ETF team and the show!

Roshni  the beloved wife of ACP Arjun Rawte, she was filled Arjun's heart with never ending love, She was a charming woman with an aura that bewitched the tough cop at his door steps at their very first meeting. They met through their common friend Sameer Rathod, during her visit to Mumbai. When Sameer could not receive her and she had to stay in Arjuns house.

She was abeautiful and completely mesmerizing lady, her smile can melt stones. Arjun had fall in love with her at the first sight. She was tricky and a naughty girl, her passion for flowers especially red and white roses has even add colors to Arjun's life. She was innocent as white, She has brightened and filled Arjun's life with happiness, she has give the love that he was craving for, she has made Arjun's house a home.

The naughty, jovial and fun loving Arjun married to a chirpy bubbly and beautiful girl Roshni. The perfect combo. They both loved each other immensely.

But unfortunately she was brutally murdered by a criminal, Sikander, and left Arjun in mid way of life with haunting nightmares that keeps him awake with uncountable sleepless nights. Her decease turned him into a living corpse and left him with rage and thirst of revenge. She is what made him as well as broke him. Roshni , the woman gives A different shade to ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawtes life . Now Arjun is only living with the goal of giving justice to her.

Roshini is played by Samiksha Jug who had actually made her debut with Telegu movies and even won the best debut award. She has also done a serial for Sahanra One called as Zarra-pyar ke saugat. She appeared as a model for many print commercials for reputed brands like Kit-Kat, Monte Carlo, American Express Card, Amway, World Gold Council, Mother Dairy, Havell's switch and T.V commercial's like Johnson baby prickly heat powder, Hyundai Xing, Sunsilk and Metro tyres, Univercell mobile.

Samiksha was also seen playing the role of Nilanjana Roy in the popular daily soap Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee TV.

A bubbly, chirpy and soft hearted girl, she could melt stones with her dimpled smile, she was compassionate, be it to her friends who always stick with her, or maybe her Boss who put on a mask of indifference and rudeness, taunting her for her incapability. She respected seniors, but never kept quiet when they underestimated her she was very keen about her profession.

She admired and respects Arjun a lot because of his sharp analytical skills and hard work. And once when There was something really endearing about her which attracted the viewers, maybe it was her determination to prove herself against all hurdle, maybe it was her heart which felt for the victim's family and questioned the criminals how they can do something so brutal, maybe her immense faith in God, or maybe her OCD about hygiene freakishness which never allowed her to drink water except for sealed bottles. Outside her work, she was just like any normal girl, spending time with her friends, excited about her favorite actor's film premiere, having crush on him yet mistaking it as love, and crying buckets when he died. Sana Khan, who rose to fame after her last serial, "Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon?" portrayed her role with perfection, breathing life to the character of Riya Mukherjee and made it memorable in viewer's mind

Sana Khan portrayed Riya so well that we will never be able to forget her as Riya and will always miss her presence in the show.

Better known as Karan aka Robin Hooda.. He was seen in the revamped season of Arjun-Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek,after the death of the whole ETF team in the deadly bomb blast. He accompanied Arjun,who resigned from the police force and both of them started to live together in his garage, they use to solve case on their with the help of local people... He addresses Arjun as "Shera" and is a very good friend of him.. Likes Simran and is a harmless flirt.. Together they form the pair, "Karan-Arjun."

A fun-loving,bubbly,chirpy and helpful in nature.. That is what Simran is... Dreams high of becoming a successful actor,she meets with Karan and Arjun and starts solving cases with them. Sometimes,she used dress as an undercover for solving cases. A big dramatic yet with a golden heart..Shares a good camaraderie with Arjun and Karan.

Referred as "Einstein" by Arjun. Anjali was a very intelligent Small version of Shree..Arjun hallways has soft corner specially for children, and this girl melted his heart with his intelligent skills and bubbly smile. She couldnt walk properly as she had some problems with it.. A computer-gadget freak. She met Arjun when Arjun became the physical education instructor at her school. Since then,Arjun and bonding started. Sometimes,Karan used to get shocked seeing her intelligence.. She used to address Arjun as "Mr.Arjun."

Two gems.two dreamers..two inspirational writersthey have given us yet another reason to wait for the weekends.Yes, they have etched Arjun in all our hearts in such a way that it will never fade away with time!

Though not a part of the team now, they can never be forgotten.The dhamakedar episodes which they have gifted to we will always have a special place in our memories!

They truly weave magic and cast a spell on the viewers with their magical writing! You have made us all fall hopelessly in love with the show and of course Arjun and each and every character of the show!!

A true inspiration for all budding writers I can truly vouch for that because I am one among them!

Rathod: Gadhi mein betho Rawte, Udta hua teer mein khula nahi chod sakta. 

Arjun:Tumhare irade tumhari harkato se saaf chalakte hai Riya, meri personal life me dakhal andazi band karo,Nafrat hai mujhe un logon se jo meri zindagi me taak jhaak karte hai. Akhri baar bol raha hoo, door raho mujse.

Riya:Sir.. kisi ka sorry bolna shayad apke lie koi value nahi rakhta, me sorry bol bhi chuki hoo or genuinely feel bhi kar chuki hoo, mujhe ehsaas hai ki kia hua, or aap kia feel kar rahe hai.But believe me Sir, me accidentally apki life me taak jhaak karne lagi, phir mujhe curiosity... Obviously human nature hai, me apni hadein samajti hoo, isilie jan boojh ki mene unhe paar nahi kia, Jo hua ghalti se hua, sir please..believe me.

Rathod: Rawte.. Thanks.tumne meri jaan bachai, agar tum sahi waqt pewaha nahi poohanchte tou,wo log kuch bhi kar sakte the.

 Arjun : Me naa hi kisi pe ehsaan karta hoo or na hi kabhi apni duty chodta hoo, Jo kuch bhi hua issi adaat ki waja se hua hai Rathod. In thanks vanks me time waste karne ki jaga agar case ko jaldi solve kare tou behter hoga.

Rathod: Ye important hissa tab bhi important kaam karta hai jab isse kaat ke alag karne ki koshish ki jati hai.
