Yes agree, if its done then hope the reason for becoming a secretary is rationale. BTW the idea is definitely intriguing😳. I dont think there is anything illegal in that, since she is working at a lower skill job which does not require the degree. A doctor can work as a pharmacist if need be, there are many people who work at lower jobs for various jobs.
Another thought crossed my mind may be its related to Harvey's mother? I mean Gretchen and Harvey's mother.

Sure I would share.

bold - I see what you mean but if the intent itself is wrong, there have to be legal repercussions for willful deception. If related to Harvey's mom, it would be personal and can fall under grey area.
Thx for e10 spoiler 😃. If Hardman & Soloff are working together for the same purpose, what was the show in e7 all about with Soloff walking away? Or, something might have happened that caused Soloff to align with Hardman's cause after all. At times, it seems the chrs. are taking one step forward and two steps back in the very next episode this season.

Well "Intent" per se is important everytime, everywhere in all situations. Some people with higher qualifications do work for less skilled jobs because they need a job and are not getting a job for their skill set. Some of them do hide the higher qualification but they cannot harm the job, right. In case of Mike, they have won cases so what will be the fallout for the clients? nothing, for the firm its their policy and reputation You know as long as its WIN there are no qualms. A loss is what invites questions and blame. On Gretchen, unless she is doing espionage or being a traitor, it should not matter. Or she is sent by Hardman? I doubt that though.

Yeah that spoiler is in contradiction the Soloff-Hardman convo. Beats me , what is the purpose unless they get back together or they never fell off in first place. It was a deception to convince Jessica🤔.

Report : I probably will😆

The way they are building things up..on Harvey's side it will be regarding his mother and for Mike..it will be him not having a degree..and with Racheal thinking abt future..what would her decision be

Soloff is back together with hardman😕maybe Hardman will use his past actions that he hinted about as leverage

Am butting in

Working for a job below one's professional qualification is OK..but deception isn't
Wouldnt she have to declare in her CV that she is a lawyer and wants to work as secretary for whatever the reason be
Isnt her working for a job beneath her qualification is OK, only if she declares the right qualification?

I got am errant thought..what if she is in cohoot with Hardman
This only if the spoiler saying Gretchen is a lawyer is true

As a lawyer, doctor or a financial planner etc., you are put in a position of helping /representing other people or their lives. They have to be held to a much higher professional standard. Deception should put one's professional license in jeopardy. The risk would have to be worth it.
Gretchen might have declared it in her CV but Harvey (& by default the viewers) never saw it. The one time that she gave it to Harvey, she wanted to explain the time gap due to panic attacks. Doubt Harvey looked at it carefully enuf. Now, he might end up looking not so bright if Gretchen is a high powered attorney!

Yes, Donna did compile a list of the best candidates for Norma's job, which she later gave to Harvey.
