CHAPTER 3

Ananya decided to shrug off the thoughts of loving Akash. She didn't change her attitude towards him.

One day, Natasha told Ananya and Akash to go to a jewellery shop to buy a small gift for one of her relatives. When they reached the shop, Akash was just passing his time while Ananya was selecting the gift. Suddenly Akash noticed a cute couple standing parallel to them. The wife was continuously poking the husband to buy an ornament for her. The husband was smiling at her and finally bought the ornament and out of excitement, the wife hugged her husband. Akash was smiling sadly looking at the couple. Ananya turned and looked at Akash.  She followed his eyes and saw the couple. She again looked at Akash and saw the sad expression on his face. Something squeezed inside her. She felt very bad for Akash. By that time Akash realized that Ananya was looking at him. He looked at her and asked, "chale?" Ananya nodded and they both left.

After a few days, Akash told everybody that he have to go to Dubai for 20 days to attend a meeting. Natasha said, "Akash! Itne dino ke lie jaa raha hai to Ananya ko bhi le jaa. Vaise bhi tum log shaadi ke baad kahin jaye hi nhi." Ananya very rudely said, "Nahin gaye to acha hi hai. Mujhe jaana bhi nahi." And left. Everybody was shocked and Akash became really very angry but he controlled his anger. After that day, Akash stopped talking to Ananya.

A few days later, Shreya informed Akash that the meeting was cancelled. Akash came home and started unpacking his luggage when Ananya came inside. She was hell confused that why Akash was unpacking his luggage. She came forward and asked, "Kya hua Akash? Tum saaman kyun khali kar rahe ho?"Akash was really very angry but controlled his anger. Ananya again asked, "Akash batao to kya hua? Tum nahi jaa rahe kya?"

That was the limit. Akash shouted, "kyun puch rahi ho? Kyun batao main tumhe? Meri life hai ye. Main jo marzi karun. Tumhe kya problem hai? Oh haan! Samajh gaya. Tum sapne dekh rahi hogi na ki ab to Akash chala jaayega to main independent ho jaungi. Tumhari khushiyoon ko to vaise hi maine aag laga di hai na? Ananya was shocked as Akash never shouted on her. She said, "Akash tumhara dimaag kharaab ho gya hai."

She was about to leave when Akash held her hand very tightly. His eyes were red. Ananya shouted, "Akash mera haath chodo" Akash held it even more tightly. Ananya started crying and pleaded, "Akash please mera haath chodo. You are hurting me." Akash said with tears in his eyes, "Am I? To tum kya kar rahi ho? Maine aisa konsa gunha kiya hai jiski sazaa de rahi ho tum mujhe. Jo kar sakta tha sab kiya tumhare lie par tumhe koi farak pade tab na! You know what? Mujhe nafrat hai khudse ki maine tum jaisi larki se pyaar kia. Par chalo galti to insaan se hoti hai na. Abhi bhi time hai. Sudhaar deta hun galti. Chali jao mere ghar se. Nahi rehna mujhe tumhare saath." And he left her hand and walked away.

Ananya was shocked. She never expected this. But as she was full of ego, she immediately packed her bags and left his house. Her mother was shocked to see her. Ananya told her that Akash told her to leave his house. At that time Aniket had gone out of station for some work.

A few days passed by, Akash started living his life like a machine. He was alive on water and sometimes soup. Natasha and Prashant were extremely worried. Sherya was the one with whom Akash talked.

On the other hand, Ananya was feeling very sad. Actually, she was missing Akash. Yes, she was missing that smile accompanied by those cute dimples. She was missing that care and that love.

One day, Shaina came to Akash's room. She handed him a saree and said, "Sir, ye Ananya ma'am ki hai. Unhone drycleaning ke lie di thi. Kaha rakhun?" Akash looked at the saree and said, "Mujhe de do. Main de aaunga use." Saying this he closed the door. He looked at saree.

Ajnabi mood hai khauf har ore hai

He hugged the saree and started crying and slowly sat on the ground.

Hmm.. aasmaan zard hai aahein bhi sard hai

Tan se saaya juda ho gaya

Hmm..pal bhar mein jaane kya kho gaya

Saanse ruk si gayi, jism chil sa gaya

Tootey khwaboon ke manzar pe tera jahaan chal dia

He started remembering all the days he spent with Ananya.

He sat up and took out Ananya's photograph.

He sat on the bed and cried his heart out hugging and kissing her photograph.

Ulde se lamhoon ko aas teri zakhmi dilon to hai pyaas teri

Har dhadkan ko talash teri tera milta nahi hai pata

Khali aankhe khud se sawaal karein

Thamne ki cheekh behaal karebehta lahu fariyaad kare

Teri mitta chala hai nishaan

Ananya was lying on the bed. She was missing Akash. She was crying. Akash applied a bandage on it.

Tootey khwaboon ke manzar pe tera jahaan chal dia

Both were missing each other but decided not to talk as they thought that the other is angry. Both slept crying.

Next morning Aniket came back to Delhi. He came to know about how Akash threw Ananya out of the house. Aniket thought of talking to Akash.

When he entered Akash's cabin, Shreya stopped him and said, "Sir I know aap kya baat karne aaye hai. I suggest you not to talk to sir because unka mood bohot off hai. Ananya ma'am ne unke saath thik nahi kia. Unka naam sukar hi Akash Sir ko gussa aa jaata hai." Aniket was confused. According to him, the day he talked to Ananya, her attitude towards Akash was changed. He said, "hurt kia hai matlab? Akash ne Ananya ko ghar se nikaala hai vo khud nahi aayi hai. Vo to ghar par roti reheti hai saara din. Aur vaise bhi Ananya se maine baat ki thi. Uske baad se kabh Akash ne nahi kaha ki Ananya ne uske saath rudely behave kia hai. To phir?"

Shreya smiled sadly and said, "Sir sach na batane se jhoot sach nahi ban jaata. Ananya ma'am ne Akash sir ke saath koi acha behave nahi kia tha. Vo to bus Akash sir nahi chahte the ki family involve ho. Isiliye aaapse kuch nahi kaha. Aur rahi baat rone ki to sir, vo to sirf roti hai. Sir ne to jeena chod dia hai. Soup aur paani par zinda hai vo 9 din se. Sir please aap Ananya ma'am ko samjhayiye. Main sir ko 5 saal se jaanti hun. Maine unhe kabhi aise nahi dekha aur na hi dekh sakti hun."

Aniket came out of his office and was thinking about Shreya's words.

At Ananya's home, Anji and Chitra were teeling her to go back but Ananya denied, "usne mujhe maara hai chitra. Vo nafrat karta hai mujhse. Aur sach kahun to mujhe bhi uski aisi koi khaas zaroorat nahi hai."

Aniket stormed into the house and shouted, "Ananya! Abhi ke abhi niche aa. Shruti tum bhi bahar aao. Maa Papa aap dono bhi. Chitrangda aur Anjlika! Ananya ko lekar abhi neeche aao."

Everybody came running. Ananya thought that Aniket has some good news. She ran downstairs.

Aniket came and stood before Ananya and smiled and then he did something that shocked everybody...
