Ashoka in Sanskrit means without sorrow', but did you know that Samrat Ashoka was also known as Samraat Chakravartin- the emperor of emperors, Devnmpriya- beloved of god, Priyadarin -the one who regards everyone with affection?

Wasn't that already shown in the promo where his mom states so? also even Bindusara and Chandragupt Maurya have the same title Samaraat chakravartin.

Did you know that Ashoka killed his 99 brothers to take the throne after the death of his father King Bindusara? He became the king with the help of a minister, Radhagupta.

Yes he did become the king with the help of Radhagupta but kthere is no much proof on whether he killed his 99 brothers to get the throne.

Did you know how big Samrat Ashoka's empire was? It spanned from the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan to Bangladesh and From Assam in the east, to Kerala and Andhra Pradesh in south.

Btw, Kerala and Tamil Nadu where never ruled by Ashoka. They had the Cheras and Cholas ruling over them at that time.
