Aman approaches Ragini and insists her to get into his car, for she won't be able to handle herself. Ragini denies and tells him that she'll meet him in the hospital next morning. Aman reveals that he knows what happened today. Ragini utters that she arranged a surprise party for her son at home. Aman again insists her to accompany him and declares that he can't leave her alone at this hour. Ragini finally pays heed to his words and sits in. She expresses her sadness on Aarav's words. Aman attempts to console her and reveals that Neil reported this matter to him. Ragini gets bitter on hearing the latter's name and claims that he can only give her immense pain and must be rejoicing on his victory.
Pam enters Neil room to take him to the party and asks the cause of his sadness. She guesses that Ragini must have done something unfavorable. Neil asks her that who invited Aarav and she replies that she did it on Aagam's insistence. She starts yelling at Ragini forcing various accusations on Neil yells and instructs her to go out. Ragini thinks that Neil must be celebrating with his sister and friends. Neil wonders why he's unable to bear Ragini's tears even when she's married to someone else, what type of hatred is this! Karan asks Pam whether Neil is joining them or not to which she replies that he's upset and won't join them. Karan moves towards Neil's room. Nivedita assures Pam that she'll get Neil as she never failed to accomplish anything. Neil confesses his inability to see Ragini in tears to Karan. Nivedita enters and Neil yells that he's coming out. She starts weeping and it makes Neil laugh at her. He says sorry and makes her leave. Karan says that he laughs when other women weep but Ragini's tears hurt him deeply. Neil agrees and tells him that Ragini ruined everything. Once again it's evident that she can never give him happiness, Nivedita can.
Aarav tells Aagam that he'll leave now and rejects being so bitter towards Ragini. Pam is amazed to see Neil in the party. Dimpy comes and they all proceed towards the dining table. Karan realizes that Ranveer took his car in an intoxicated state and calls him in worry. Ranveer doesn't pay attention to his words and cuts the phone. Karan decides to sort the matter and with an intention of not upsetting Neil further, lies that he's going to get the stock of wine bottles for a party. Aarav sees Shilpa in Ranveer's company and gets sad. Ragini reaches her residence and Nishi inquires about Aarav. Ragini sadly reveals that he's enjoying his grand party at Karan's home and won't come back. She further says that he'll be happy amid materialistic pleasures, she can hardly manage a second hand bike. She admits that she shouldn't have kept Aarav with her, as sons are bound to stay with their mothers unlike daughters. Aarav arrives and seeks apology. Ragini gets into his room and comes out with his luggage, stating that he's free to stay with his Dad. Aarav attempts to explain but she doesn't listen and draws a strong contrast between her poverty and Neil's lavish lifestyle. Aarav again seeks her pardon and utters that even she knows that he fails to get hold of his anger. She used to slap him in his childhood on expressing his desire to meet Neil, so why she's being so serious on his words now? Saying so, Aarav falls to her feet and gets some food to feed her. Just then, Shilpa's mother arrives and says that her daughter hasn't come home yet. Aarav realizes that Shilpa is with Ranveer yet.
