She already started lobbying for such thing by meeting with president, CMs of different parties etc. during mardani movie release. 😆 By the way she deserve it more than likes of Ashiwarya , vidya balan etc.

Padma Shri is the 4th highest civilian award of India. Its prestigious.

Padma Bhushan is the 2nd highest civilian award of India. Even a Bangladeshi got Padma Bhushan from president of India in 2013.

Its time now...

She has proved her mettle long ago by doing quality films and her characters have been strong! Be it in films like Black, Hum-Tum, Veer Zara - She has don some some amazing work!

She deserves to be honored for her work!
