OK for Ali to slap Sonali?

I've seen so many people on this forum say it's good that Sonali slapped Ali and that he deserved it, but what if it was the other way around?

What if Ali or any other man on the show slapped a woman, would you say the same then?

Why is it OK for a woman to slap a man? Why is it celebrated? Seriously.

People give the reason that Ali has a bad character, but if Sonali acted like him, would the same apply to her? Would she deserve a slap from a man?

These double standards shouldn't happen. Violence is violence, gender shouldn't matter. And violence most certainly shouldn't be encouraged or celebrated.

First Ali is not a bad character. We cannot label someone bad character based on people who themselves are candidate for that spot. Punz, sonali, dimpy, pritam etc. lol

I think there is just no room for slap unless and untill its in self defense.

Based on what I have seen there is high chance that Sonali did it for TRP or was instigated by someone. After last incident she herself taunted Ali that I brought you down from captaincy to zameen like that. She herself as not serious while whole forum was giving us lecture on women consent and all that.

Totally agree, had Ali slapped her, he would have been thrown out immediately. And all of us would have condemned Ali unanimously. No to violence regardless of gender.

I don't know if this is right... But indian cinema has shown men being slapped by women... The actress or heroine... Hands out her pataaks quite often... It is easily used to express disappointment, anger... Very rarely will you see a discussion take place instead...Hence it is more readily acceptable by the viewers.

On a personal level, I have never seen a person slap another person in the real world.

Totally agree! Physical Violence is not acceptable no matter who is at the receiving end! From sneak peak it appears as though she did it to prove a point which is wrong! Wrong is wrong just because you are a fan doesn't mean you celebrate your favourite's actions without knowing the full context.

That's probably part of the problem, that shows and movies make it out like it's normal. But at the end of the day, that is still fiction and this is reality.

Here the problem isn't just that Sonali slapped Ali, it's the fact people are enjoying it so much.

Putting aside all personal favouritisms and hatred for Ali and Sonali, I would hope that people would see it is wrong for her to slap him. I'm sure if he slapped her there would be a furore.

And this is a reality show and people there are not characters... she should mind what she is doing... I disliked her, liked her, again disliked her, now it is heights... last week she begged Nigar not to nominate her and came inside and bitching abt it and taunting Upen that he is insecure blah blah.. anyways.. whatever she did is totally wrong... Even though Ali is bad, she has no right to slap him.. As for the forum, what can I say...if she was slapped, then they would say woman has been slapped.. 😕

Men also has respect ...
N its a game show ..n just becoz Ali said all the things wat Sonali said him with all ...
Sonali doesn't get right to slap him ...
How can she slap him on national television ..
Just because he was playing game n he made clear to all that its his game ...
Everyone in house talks at back n if Ali too talks then what's the problem

Nope not okay to slap. Pooja Mishra was evicted for lesser violence. Same should be applied for Sonali. She deserves eviction or punishment just like in case of Punz.
