I've seen so many people on this forum say it's good that Sonali slapped Ali and that he deserved it, but what if it was the other way around?
What if Ali or any other man on the show slapped a woman, would you say the same then? Why is it OK for a woman to slap a man? Why is it celebrated? Seriously.People give the reason that Ali has a bad character, but if Sonali acted like him, would the same apply to her? Would she deserve a slap from a man? These double standards shouldn't happen. Violence is violence, gender shouldn't matter. And violence most certainly shouldn't be encouraged or celebrated.

I don't know if this is right... But indian cinema has shown men being slapped by women... The actress or heroine... Hands out her pataaks quite often... It is easily used to express disappointment, anger... Very rarely will you see a discussion take place instead...Hence it is more readily acceptable by the viewers.
On a personal level, I have never seen a person slap another person in the real world.
