Chapter 13
Airport 7 pm
There was an emergency situation at the airport. One of the passengers had held Inde Airline ground staff as hostages! They were caught smuggling guns and drugs.
Unwillingly, Akash was leaving to onboard his flight when he came to know about this hostage issue at the ticket counter.
He quickly rushed to the site and tried to resolve the crisis. He had been in similar instances earlier and was quite smart to handle this kind of situation.
He managed to pull down the passenger who had held the staff and in ruffle and shuffle he got a shot on his knee and was bleeding.
Finally police came on time and caught the passenger and all hostages were released.
Akash was immediately rushed to the Hospital .
Mr Sen had arranged another Pilot to fly at the last minute .
At the Venue - 7pm
Mafatlal panicked and informed every one of the hostage emergency at the airport for Inde Airlines staff. They had to leave for the airport at once.
His Dad apologized to her Nanaji and they all left.
Her Aunt snapped" Yeh kya, sagai kiye bina hi chale gaye" Kitna bada ap shagun hai yeh. Ab pata nahi kaun isse sagai kareyga ?"
Tears welled up in her eyes hearing all this!
As soon as Arjun came to know , he rushed to Ananya before leaving and said hastily " Ananya, Akash has got shot and I am going to meet him now at the hospital"
Akasssh", she shouted and started weeping inconsolably. She could not imagine him being in pain. She was just holding her tears till now. She knew she belonged to him and her life would become meaningless without him.
She looked at her Nanaji and he at once understood the reason for her pain and teary eyes. He signaled her with his eyes and she too ran with Arjun to the hospital.
All the while she was in the car, she continuously prayed for him to be fine. Tears were falling through her eyes and she just wanted to reach out to him.
"Arjun, he will be alright na ", She asked in teary and pained voice.
Yes, Ananya, he will be fine. Don't worry. He is very strong and has gone through this kind of situations several times, and then he realized what he spoke.
She looked at him with inquisitive eyes.
Hospital : 8:30pm
As soon as she reached the hospital, she quickly jumped out and ran to the reception to inquire about his room details.
She went outside his room and her breathing had become irregular already.
Akash was slightly unconscious, and when she reached she saw doctor coming out of his room, she quickly asked in a pleading tone,
"Doctor, is he fine! Please do not let anything happen to my Akash"
Doctor looked at her pale face and quickly replied " Yes he is fine . He's lucky that the bullet just touched his knee and did not penetrate inside. He can be discharged in next 1 hour , but he needs to take rest to be completely fine. "
Then he handed over his prescription to Arjun.
"Thanks for everything Doctor " she said and felt a sigh of relief!
" Can we meet him now " Arjun asked.
"Please wait for few minutes! . We have given him sedatives and he is slightly unconscious. He should be up in few minutes and then you can meet him. " ,
But Ananya was adamant.. She looked at Arjun and said " I want to see him Arjun , now. I love him.. I love him more than anything else. I love him very much...Arjun, she opened up her hidden feelings which were dying to come out...
Arjun was taken aback by the sudden confession and was feeling very happy from within and he just held her hand and said" He's fine Ananya.. If you still wish to see him now, go ahead .. Believe me Nothing will happen to your Akash, he said ..smilingly.
She immediately opened the door and watched him lying on the bed. She felt so bad seeing him in this state, she went in and held his hand ... His eyes were still closed...She wanted to hug him tightly and wanted to let him know how much she loved him.. Then she bent down and kissed his forehead pouring all her love out for him.
Most sincere feelings are always difficult to be expressed by words...
