Bipasha Basu-Harman Baweja end their relationship

After being one of Bollywood's most talked about couple in recent times, Bipasha Basu and Harman Baweja have broken up. Sources suggest that the couple decided to end their relationship due to differences between them and their families.

While buzz about Bipasha and Harman's marriage gained steam when their respective families met a few months back, rumours of things not being well between the two started doing the rounds a few weeks ago.

Interestingly, everybody was expecting the two to announce their marriage date but were in for a rude shock when the two announced their breakup instead.

According to a source, the couple was very much together until their families met. Speaking about the same, our source said, " Though Harman and Bipasha were serious about their relationship and wanted to take it to the next level, the Bawejas were not comfortable with Harman's choice.

Harman's family wasn't happy to accept Bipasha as their bahu. Bipasha also tried her best to please his family." Sources suggest that the Baweja family wasn't happy with Harman's decision to marry Bipasha as they never got along with her. Also, the actress apparently asked Harman to move out of the Baweja house after marriage but Harman, for whom family comes first, flatly refused to do so.

" The difference between the couple was never due to Bipasha's closeness with her co- star Karanveer Singh Grover or due to Harman's friendship with model Olega. It was mainly the family issue that made the couple take the decision to go their separate ways," said the source.

The discomfort between the Baweja family and Bipasha was not hidden from the media too when the family didn't acknowledge or treat her like a family member at the trailer launch of their animation film, Chaar Sahibzaade.

Bipasha, who was promoting Baweja's Chaar Sahibzaade through social media, was completely ignored by the family.

Harman too refused to acknowledge Bipasha as a family member when the media asked him if someone is missing from the family at the event.

Harman smartly answered the mediapersons about his sister ( Rowena) who was not present at the event. Even though the media tried to coax Harman further, hoping that he might acknowledge Bipasha as a family member, he did not even look at Bipasha.

Incidentally, Harman had already dropped hints about the break- up during some recent interviews by saying that he won't be getting married anytime soon.

Despite repeated attempts, Bipasha and Harman remained unavailable for comment.
