Rathod called him a kid..and Shree din't like it..he wanted to prove himself to his "akdu sadu ACP"..😆

PART 9 A

After a while when reports were done my junior, he went out of the cabin & I started to read the report & finalize it as it was to be submitted to higher authorities of further action .

I did it in next few minutes & started wrapping my work to leave for IG office as I had meeting there. I was walking out of the room when I saw my two juniors in a mood of fun.

They were imitating me in a funny manner. I smiled at their fun & remember how me & Chotu use to do the same & imitate Arjun sir & Riya by cracking jokes with each other.

I smiled & went to them & said in a bit loud voice, "ye kya ho raha hai?"

They looked back at me horrified & started fumbling with words, "kuch..nahin sir ..vo."

Looking at their faces I broke into smile too & said, "accha tum loog ye sab bhi karte hoo? To fir kisi acchi jagah films ya TV main try karna thana, khaam kha crime branch ke technical department main aagaye "

They got bit scared & I said seeing their scared faces, "waise try accha tha ... par main itna bhi khadoos nahin hoon" & I winked back at them.

They all smiled at me taking a breath of relief & I said, "accha ab ye sab chodo, jo maine tum sabko details collect karne ke liye di hai unhe jaldi se khatam karo, its urgent, warna vaakai main films ya TV main try karna padega"

They all went back to work with a smile & I walked out of the office to meet IG. In the drive I was thinking of that how the time is being changed first we use to tease each other, imitate our khadoos bosses, have lot of fun during the case & now same our juniors were doing it.

They still have to realize the seriousness of the job that they all are doing but I wanted them to enjoy as in our daily life we get very few moments of fun & doing this it helps us to stay strong at the most serious times.

I stopped at the office of IG & went inside to attend the meeting with the reports. After a while when meeting was over I went back to office. In my way I was thinking that how in some or the other way we use to make our mood light at the time of critical case.

FB STARTS:

It was a critical case we all were in a search to nab the culprit but culprit gave us a slip & ran away. I was tracking the number in hurry & didn't notice that number I am typing was wrong.

Arjun sir said & became more angry at me, "Shree pressure hai iska matlab ye nahin ki usme galtiyaa karo ..hum galtiyaa afford nahin kar sakte..ab ise jaldi track karo aur mujhe batao" & saying this he walked out of the room standing alone with a grumpy face.

Even I too made a face & Chotu said consoling me, "Jaane de Shree ab jab samjhe ya samjhaao khada hoo to koi bhi galti karega.. hai na Riya"

Riya shrugged her head & went to Arjun sir to calm him down a bit. He was fuming in anger first of my carelessness & second the culprit was out of our hands so Riya thought of calming him a bit.

After a while I saw them talking calmly to each other in the camera. I nudged Chotu & said, "dekh Chotu jab gussa aaya to saara gussa humpe nikaal diya aur jab gussa thanda hua to Riya ke saath shanty varta kar rahe hai"

Chotu said, "Jaane de yaar inka chalta rehta hai"

Riya was managing well there with her soothing talks there & we two were making fun of the talks & assuming that what they were talking about, Chotu imitated Arjun sir & I imitated Riya & started our masti & in that we totally forgot that we are tracking a culprit.

Our masti & chat was stopped by a loud growl of Rathore sir saying, "ye kya laga rakha hai?"

We looked at him bit startled & started fumbling with words "vo..sir..", he yelled saying in a strong voice, "doobara maine tumhe ye sab karte dekha to main tumhara transfer ETF se VIP security main karwaa doonga"

We looked at each other horrified & apologized for the same & resumed our work

I was bit scared that day as Rathore sir was really furious & Arjun sir too. We felt liked trapped between the two hungry tigers ready to pounce on us at any time but I had to confess that Riya, Chotu & I were like three muskitiors all for one & one for all the best buddies.

Chotu & I use to fight a lot, I use to tease him big time sometimes Ravan, sometimes Bheem or what not because of his huge size body & he use to get irritated a lot.

His long hairs, huge size body, & a soft heart he was one unique piece. He loved his Ruby (pet pomarian) yaa he to call Ruby his, but he loved his little Ruby a lot, no one could believe that a huge & a strong size body person is having such a soft heart.

The most favorite of my teasing to Chotu was his 11:30 baje waali, yes he was in love with a girl who use to come to the departmental store near his place on Sunday 11:30 & he use to flaunt on her big time.

We always use to tease him as he didn't mustered up courage to speak his heart out to her & we use to irritate him big time, at times I use to say to him "Chotu yaar ye ladki hai ya chitrahaar aur Rangoli jo har hafte fixed time pe .." & hearing this he use to get irritated big times & he use to hit me hard opening his long hairs in frustration but I must say he was the best a really good commando & had all the guts & capability to be in ETF.

I was really lucky to have a friends like this, I always miss them a lot & one thing that I learnt from them was to be happy in any circumstances.

After the death of Vedant & Karuna the dark & bitter truth had taken a toll on me, I use to think that our life will not be normal again but when Riya came into ETF she changed the entire enviourment of our workplace.

She had given that lost smile & warmth back which was lost somewhere after the death of Karuna & Vedant. Riya brought that beauty back in our daily life which was lost, we three use to have a great time together.

Time never remains the same but love, friendship & relations remain the same always, they are even, I lost my both friends but still I can feel their presence near me as they are supporting me in every hard situation as we use to do before.

But life take unpredictable turns at times & it happened with me I never thought of getting separated from 2 most best friends of mine but I forgot the most important lesson again that it's a cruel battle between minds & heart has no place here.

Life again thought me a lesson that destiny always rules you no matter how hard you try to stop your friends & your loved ones getting hurt or affected but that's not possible you need to face it & see your loved ones getting separated & most important that we are fighters of our nation, we can't get weak in any situation & the day I realized this again was when I lost my best buddy my friend Riya.

Thinking all this suddenly got startled & got back from my thoughts when my SUV stopped at the premises of crime branch.

I got down from the SUV & made my way to the cabin again & started to work on my laptop. While working I thought our family & loved ones suffer more than us in this job as they had to bear everything, our separation, scare of our well being & at times seeing us in pain they had to pay & bear more than us.

PART 9 B

Well this bitter truth has been a part of my life now & I am used to it now & even my family is use to it but I still try to give them as much time as possible as they are my strength who makes me stronger.

They have always supported me in my every way they could, whether it's my parents, my dada & boudi, Mishthi & my kids too & I think God has always been grateful to me who gave me such a supportive & a lovely family.

I really feel sorry for those family members who had lost their loved once in serving Nation. I use to respect those families earlier but now I can relate to their pain as I have experienced myself the same after we lost Riya.

My chain of thoughts were broken by a call giving me a news of a serious injured few officers of a bomb squad & it was a special kind of bomb & needed to defused but it blasted & they got injured.

After that I along with my team went there & after a while when situation was in control we sighed it relief but 1 officer died there on the spot.

I started to remember that unfortunate day when Riya died in front of me.

FB STARTS:

There was big threat of virus attack in the city & we have checked every possible way to prevent it. Even at Dusshera Mela we saw the first glimpse of this deadly virus.

We all were alerted after that & started to check about this virus. Finally after the test we came to know that this deadly virus is XZORA 2 & within 20 to 25 minutes of the effect person dies a death of agony.

We all were looking for that person who was doing this all & we were short of time too as the culprit had poisoned the main tank of a posh coloney of Mumbai & also many kids & people have lost their lives in this fiasco.

We all were clueless too what to do & how to overcome this situation as virus had a great impact & it was spreading very fast in water. We located all the possibilities & even Rathore sir & Arjun sir had an argument that they will not share this news with media as it will not be safe & people might panic & it will create lot of problems in the city.

Finally after settling down on all this we all started to move further in the case. After a while during the investigation we came to know that culprit was an insane scientist who was taking revenge of his father's death from the whole city. We were disgusted to the core & thought of nabbing him at his place itself so that this all can be stopped.

By the time we reached his place he was not in his house that time we all checked his place & found 2 to 3 bottles of virus in his refrigerator & after that we checked his Laptop regarding his targeted areas.

Arjun sir opened the laptop & tracked the place soon & started following him. He has targeted the dam from where a large part of Mumbai gets water supply.

We all started following him & also informed the guard to close the gate by the time we reach there as if the dam gets targeted then more lives would be in danger.

We all started acting fast & reached there as fast as we can. We all started to locate that culprit but no one came to know in hassle that Riya came under his grip.

After few minutes when we realized that Riya was missing we all got panicked & after a minute we saw Riya standing under the grip of that insane scientist. We all stood numb there.

Rathore sir & Arjun sir tried to control the situation but it all went vain. That person was not ready to even listen to any word & started to black mail us.

He asked Arjun sir to put the virus balls in the dam himself or else Riya will be dead. Arjun sir too became helpless at that time.

Finally what Riya did was really unimaginable for all of us. She started thinking fast & in front of our eyes she swallowed the virus ball & that scientist & all of us were stunned to the core as Riya fall down very next moment Arjun sir shot that person dead.

Arjun sir was nearest to him he cried her name & went to her running but it was too late, she had intake the virus to save the city.

She murmured, "Sir maine apna aakhri mission poora kar liya.."

Arjun sir yelled at her saying, "just shut up Riya .. kuch nahin hoga tumhe " with that Arjun sir scooped Riya in his arms & we all ran towards the SUV to take Riya to the Hospital.

After a while we reached hospital but already 20 minutes were over but we were trying hard to save our friend. We made her lie down & doctors were preparing to start their treatment.

We all were talking to her to encourage her to fight & she was responding to all of us.

She said to Rathore sir, "Sir mujhe yadi dubara mauka mila to main aapki training bekaar nahin jaane doongi" she then turned to me & Chotu saying ,"mera zikra mat kho dena .."

Finally she called Arjun sir & said, "Sir main kehti thi na ki main samajhti hoon..par shayad nahin samajhti thi kyuki sacche..payar ka dard..." She could not complete her words & went dead there & Arjun sir said completing, "sacche pyar ka dard wahi mehsos kar sakta hai jiska pyar adhoora reh gaya ho".

I realized what happened when Arjun sir closed Riya's motionless eyes I started weeping badly crying her name. Even Rathore sir & Arjun sir had tears in their eyes too.

I still remember Shubha aunty (Riya's mother), her condition was the worst we all were just silent watchers & helpless. After that our team seemed to have lost life all of a sudden.

Even I reacted badly when case came up next day I said bluntly, "sir main is case main part nahin loonga, hum loog itne inhuman kaise ho sakte hai? Kal hamari dost Riya ne hamari aankho ke saamne dum toda aur aaj hum itni aasani se case solve karne jaayenge?"

Arjun sir made me understand that why Riya sacrificed her life & what was the motive behind this & we should not disrespect her sacrifice like this.

I knew what he was saying is correct but at that point of time I was not able to control my emotions.

All four of us were missing Riya terribly she had created a void in our life & no one still could take the place that she has in our hearts, I still remember Shubha aunty's sobbing face when Riya was awarded with a gallantry award.

It was very hard for all of us to perceive the fact that Riya is no more in this world but people who sacrifice their life for their Motherland are always alive.

At the time of Karuna & Vedant I was new to understand but this time this harsh reality had crept somewhere deep inside me.

After losing Riya I realized how a family members feel when they lose their son or daughter like this. She had made ETF a family & after losing her, her banters, her talks, her smile all use to haunt us big time in the intial phase.

I & Chotu could share things too but Arjun sir & Rathore Sir too use to silently bear the pain but all were helpless. Riya had been the most wonderful friend & partner in crime.

She had gifted us many beautiful memories it was really painful to see her going away like this.

Remembering all this a lone tear escaped from my eyes, I wiped it & then tried & concentrated on my work. After a while finishing everything I along with my team mates went back to Crime Branch.

Remembering Riya's demise & seeing that dead squad person I was a bit shaken & disturbed, when my junior entered cabin breaking my trance & asked about some details of tracking as he was not able to get few of them & required help. I left my cabin along with him & started helping him.
