Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan: All in the past now

Shahid Kapoor starrer Haider's special screening was quite a surprise for everyone, right from the media to the industrywallahs as Shahid came face to face with his alleged ex girlfriend Vidya Balan and guess what? Rather than avoiding each other, the two greeted each other cordially.

Vidya, who came along with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur who has produced Haider and brother- in- law Kunal Roy Kapur, looked extremely happy after watching the film. So much so that she couldn't stop praising Shahid's performance. " It was quite surprising to see Shahid and Vidya chatting together, who normally choose to avoid each other. She personally spoke to Shahid and praised his performance. If that was not enough, Vidya even spoke to the media present there and called it one of Shahid's most remarkable performances.

She also said that Shahid is a good actor and dancer but this time, she was pleasantly surprised with his role in Haider," says a source present at the screening.

Vidya didn't look uncomfortable interacting with Shahid in front of her husband, Siddharth. Interestingly, she was so impressed by the film that while Shahid and Shraadha Kapoor were talking to the media, Vidya intervened and said that they were being too modest about their performances. Reacting to that, even Shahid started praising Vidya highly.

Looking at Shahid and Vidya's camaraderie at the special screening, one could say that the duo has moved on and become friends once again. Many eyebrows were raised as not too long ago at Shahid's father Pankaj Kapur's 60th birthday party, Shahid had completely ignored Vidya who was apparently invited by Supriya Pathak Kapur.

But looks like it's all in the past now.
