Is Deepika better than PC in commercial films?

It varies but pc is more verstatile and works with other people dpad seems to work with same people repeatly!!

DP has improved and a lot at that. I enjoyed her in all of her last couple films. CE, RL, Cocktail, YJHD.. she played all different roles and she was good in them. not a single disappointment but beautiful transition from one to other role.

but honestly, none of the role was Exactly 'BUBBLY'. you can call these roles as commercial roles.

and PC also have had successfully done commercial roles. Waqt, Dostana, Kaminey, Bluff Master, Agneepath (I personally loved her role/character)

So to me, Both can do commercial roles.

but when it comes to strong performance oriented roles, PC excels in it. awards are proof enough. National for Fashion, Dada Saheb Phalke award for Saat Khoon Maaf. so much love & accolade for Barfi.

DP might do commercial roles slightly better than PC, but she has still a road ahead of her. she needs to perform a character like Jhilmil and you can compare Dpad and PC.

What does it even mean? PC is a mainstream commercial actress she is not an arthouse actress. PC is better than DP in each and every type of films.

True but am not really comparing their acting as I think PC is a much much better actress. Better dilogue delivery and better at emotional scenes. And PC has done challenging roles that not only suppress Deepika but Kareena and Vidya too. But here am strictly talking about commercial films..roles that require you to be glam with a bit of acting. Which is where I prefer Deepika over PC that's all. Even in songs..I think Deepika songs excite me much more than PC's. Deepika in Nagada over PC RL so g. DP in YJHD songs over PC Gunday songs.

Was that eally needed? Did we Kareena fans bash Vintage Rose when she/he started a topic of PC vs Kareena topics. I have been complimenting PC in Mary Kom trailer thread and the songs thread. You know me better than that to say stuff like this. But didn't expect much from you.

If you can't take criticism against your favorite there is nothing much I can do.

PC is ready ahead of Bebo in terms of taking challenging roles..no need to be afraid or such as your saying.

Alas, Tujko mirchi lagi toh mein Kya Karu ;)

I think A lot of Deepika success has come from working with SRK and Ranbir.

Most likely why she has worked with these two actors the most.

I think Cocktail was a good script that not only Deepika could pull off but other actresses.

So they should be given credit more then Deepika.

Naina, Leela types roles suit DP. I won't deny that. and PC's bubbly roles hasn't been too great. but I think PC would these roles just fine. though I am sure PC won't look as cute a Meenama as DP.

DP has slight advantage in that way. 😃
