Coz she knew Papa Roshan was gonna fudge figures of Kriish 4 with weekend opening being around 400cr itself. So she took mauke ka faida.

On one hand we fight for womens equality. On the other, we fight for money which isnt even rightfully ours. She should ask for money thats only enough for the kids. She is earning too, isnt she?

Are wives entitled to 50% of her husbands wealth in India? If its true then Susanne surely deserves more.

When did Payal and Aditya get divorced? She should have demanded more than 50 crores.

I think it's in civil marriage act & say Hindu marriage,woman are entitled to 50 percent of husband's self acquired wealth that is why she is getting so much. And the properties which HR will get from his grandparents doesn't come under this.

Some law person can elaborate.

No idea. Someone said yesterday that they do.

@ Payal-Adi: Yes, she asked more. She asked a few crores each year. One report said, "...another Badmaash Company can be made on the annual alimony amount." Adi refused to pay that sum; that's why they took a few years to settle the case/get the divorce.

Late 2011 or early 2012, is when Adi got the divorce.
