SP and Four Lions got spammed, and inundated with calls and people abroad started canceling their star plus subscriptions, all demanded only one thing - end the show with Arnav Khushi together happily ever after.

As for SO being rude, that shows how arrogant they are and uncaring of fans feedback. They care only for the TRP audience who are habitual viewers and will watch whatever.

Life ok is a sister channel and things could have been worked out? As we have been hearing that sc would end since a long time. So it would not have been hard to rope in GR for both shows. Like till the end of sc.

It definitely looks like things went sour somewhere between GR n ph. Shrija said MK was in pipeline for some time? And SC has been slated to end soon.

GR saying that it's ph's decision is saying a lot. That is a strong statement and the tone is quite terse.

The main point is its ultimately the channel n the viewers that matter. More than GR. He is a professional actor and can move on the way he wants. Channel has to cater to viewers' choice.

And for viewers like us Saras is the lifeline of the show. It comes down to that.

I agree with you shrija, I think gauti too wanted to move on, or at best wanted to do both shows together, which may not have been acceptable to PH. Anyway, every statement made is a very calculated one, and I am sure GR would have run this by SP. So don't take his statement at face value. The truth will be a lot more complex. And GR is not really free to disclose it I suppose

If one arm of SP offers him the new role in MK, and another arm of SP grants extension to SC at a later date, then God save SP. They are beyond redemption... Am sure much haggling etc between PH and SP wd have ensued, and they took the extension knowing fully well that GR ws not going to be available. Any which way we will never know, and frankly I dont care.

So now the fault is Gautam's or what? The channel has been accomodating Jennifer for long vacations so they could have done the same for Gautam since he would have been shooting a show on the same channel. He did say he is not a quitter and gave everything to this serial. I think he was not the only one fed up with the tracks, that is obvious from the recent interview of him and Jennifer.
