Why is Durga taking revenge on dev?

Dev & Nitya were best friends. Dev was in US when the rape happened. Both Sakshi and Rajnath knew that if Dev comes to know the truth then he'll support Nitya and Payal and woud give them a backup. Hence Rajnath, using his powers, stopped accessing Dev's visa so that he can't come. Somehow they even hacked Dev's email and sent a mail to Nitya mentioning Dev will always support his family no matter what and said not to contact him in the future. Now after becoming Durga she wants Dev to suffer in pain. On the other hand Dev doesn't know anything about the rape case. After coming to India, he has found some details reagarding the case with the help of his friend's wife who is a lawyar. He found the case is all about Shaurya and his witnesses. There's nothing on the side of Payal. Thus he ended up realizing that Payal is innocent.

Well, it's not shown who hacked Dev's account, I guess it's Shaurya. But now that we have come to know Dev, the CVs made us understand that Dev can never write that mail. Not even in his dreams.

Durga tried to contact Dev and ask him for help. But I don't know for some reason he couldn't response. Then when Dev heard about the whole case from his mom. He wanted to go to Kolkalta. But Ranjath and Sakshi told his mom to not bring Dev with her. Because his studies would be ruined in between. They actually weren't worried about his studies ... They just didn't wanted him to not know anything. Because. They knew that he for sure would take Payal and Nitya's side.

No, his mom didn't tell anything ti him..weh nthe call came he is beside her, but Rajnath after saying all he said not to say anything to Dev, his future will get spoiled..if he knew before hand, he wudhave never gone to states leaving them in such a pain
