I found the episode as a quite balanced one.. Frankly i don't understand what the bashing is all about..I guess its the differences in perspective..I found the Raman-Shagun conversation quite believable. Pls don't arm the chappal bazukas at me!! See i found two parents genuinely talking about their son ..Ok atleast one was! Raman was and always will be thankful to Shagun for the children she gave him..that's a fact and it can't be changed. Raman was talking to Adi's mother and NOT HIS WIFE! Yes the Happiness he felt when Adi came to the world does have Shagun also in the picture...he had a happy time with her too!! fond memories always remain as fond memories
Happiness is not felt by reasoning but by our heart and the joy in each memory stays forever even if the relationship or the person with whom you shared it has left you.We tend to reminisce ..its natural..All Raman was doing was the joy he and his then wife did feel with Adi's arrival..now he treats it as the joy two parents felt and not life partners.Raman being someone very sensitive for a kadus would have definitely been joyously overwhelmed with the memories of first kids birth.
And that was the joy he was talking about..about the feeling when he became a DAD FOR THE FIRST TIME! you can't have your first kid multiple times now can you?There is always some thing special when something happens for the first time...ok i know it might be a weird example..but for instance think about our first crush...we may have many crushes but there is something special about the first one..and that is the fact that it was your first one. The first time you felt that way.. I think many of us misunderstood Raman's statement there he was talking about the fact that he will never feel the joy of having his FIRST Kid ever again with anyone else.
isn't that true?Like Ishitha many of us misunderstood what he said their..I confess that i did not quite find it palatable at first but then when i saw the repeat telecast I clearly understood what he meant and found it as the truth.
Yes Shagun was at her manipulative-witch best today and managed to go from a party without insulting herself. 😆
Yes Ishita was very much hurt.Because she was shown what she might never have in her life...a phase of life... the one phase for which she craves the most . But hey..Ishita had stopped being all melancholy about this truth a long time ago..yes she will always feel sad when the matter some how comes up but she won't be running buckets of tears for that .that is not Ishita!! she is someone who expresses her sorrows in a very constricted and suppressed way whenever possible. So IShita's reactions seemed quite natural from the character sketch...She did reprimand Raman in her own way.And i felt that this Convesration was meant to increase Ramans's understanding of IShita a bit more..for him to understand IShita's insecurities and view of relationships and esteem in her life..And to also make Ramn realise that he is giving Shagun undue Importance in his life by his total abhorance toward her...To make him realise that this hatred should not be the feeling driving him on in his new relationship.He should find the necessary space for every relationship in his life..even the one with his ex and that space is respect for the mother of his kids something even if the later person doesn't deserve it ought to be given because that's the decent thing to do!!.And it always leaves us content when we do the decent thing.Being righteous improves our esteem and confidence.You feel at peace and that is what Raman has to achieve in l ife...his center..his eye of the storm..Ishita gave him the assurance that she would help him in this .She assured Raman that when she became Ruhi's mother she has by default made Ruhi's brother and her father a part of her responsibility too and that she would never find it a baggage to care for Adi too...Their vow to become more coordinated about their kids was a very realistic gesture.
I found two best friends talking ..One pouring out her thought and the other genuinely listening.Are they in love? I don't know. THey share mutual respect and concern and has found great confidants in each other.Now both of them are assured of the fact that they have found their support in life..They have reached the phase of a great friendship which i believe should exist between a husband and wife. Its the lack of this kind of friendship that sometimes leads to failures in relationships.Now the fact that they already have great camaraderie between them itself is assurance for the fact that their relationship is in the making of becoming a strong one.
P.S I found Adi's important date quite funny..and here i was thinking it was something else more amusing !
