I couldn't hwve agreed with you more AMJflora 👏
I think yesterdays episode and the convo with Raman and Shagun was needed because it was a character development that we saw in Raman ...no one is thinking of how Raman used to be, a happy and jovial guy..who would do anything for his first love...and you could say that his life came to an end when she ditched him. His hatred and pain made him a changed man...for the worse.😭 Out of all the conversations that RamGun have had, I thought it was the most mture one(if shagun genuinely cared about Adi's health and didn't want to come in between IshRa) 🤢

Now coming to Ishita, yes she was extremely upset and I was expecting her to be balling her and eyes out but she wasn't...and I'm glad the way she told him about hearing their convo..she was calm and that certainly helped the situation.

What I liked about Ishita was that she preaches what she follows...she's told Raman that she doesn't wasn't to give importance to Param and that's what she's getting Raman to do with shagun...although the relationships are very different and she knows that it won't be easy for Raman, and by showing her support, she has faith that he will get there one day. I think that ydays episode will make Raman fall more in love with his lecture-lecture wife

I think that it was a milestone for both of them to have this mature and responsible convo...it was nice to see them listening to one another and not getting defensive.

Ooh and the roadside khanna scene was just too cute!! I think even those who don't want to get married will see that scene and want to have that friendship bond with their partner😃

Wow...another marvelous post. Great job dear.

I still am feeling bad about Raman's word, which hurt Ishu. But, again, I can't blame him. Cos, it was totally unintentional. He fell in the trap of Shagun. That's it. But, seriously yaar. I wanted to slap that witch with my sandals😡.

Thank you for the wonderful post. I agree, Ishra's scene yesterday was big step in their lives together. In fact yesterday's episode for me was one of the finest written episodes.

I guess I will be the only who also liked the Raman-Shagun scene. Why I liked that scene? Simply because it was Raman's Good-Bye to Shagun. All said, they shared a life for 6-7 yrs, still remain connected because of their kids. No matter how ugly things got, a sincere Good -Bye & Good Luck goes a long way in helping you move on. Today Raman drew the line between the past one hand and present & future on the other. There was sincerity in Raman's eyes when he told Shagun their relationship is over, he doesn't have memories of that relationship... however, the happiness, the best part of their relationship was Adi and that is all that will remain between them. This message was brought out so nicely using the earring as a prop. Raman will never handover Shagun's second hand things (relationships) to Ishita. What is belongs to Ishita is what she earned on her own, an understanding (& entertaining) friend(to begin with) in her husband and a loving child in Ruhi. What was heart-warming in the sequence was that Ruhi was kept out of it. Ruhi belongs to Raman & Ishita and that is the way it is for Raman. I know that Shagun thought she has strengthened her hold on Raman when exactly the opposite happened... it is just that Raman was civil and sincere, a language she doesn't understand. What can I say? We all know Shagun is a permanent resident of fool's paradise!

Coming to Ishita, she is simply awe inspiring... as Raman puts it, she amazes me! I didn't see her being a typical mahan insaan' we all cringe at. She was an epitome of silent strength, dignity and grace in yesterday's episode. I am glad the way her character has been written, she is not melodramatic, she is real! A breath of fresh air for an Indian TV soap. She didn't run away the moment she heard Raman saying No one else will give me this happiness'. She didn't break down in middle of the road with chan se jo toota ek sapna'. She stood there till the entire conversation between Raman & Shagun was over, she didn't mean to intrude but that doesn't mean she will walk away from Raman. It was related to Raman, it was her business, period! As usual Shagun believed she succeeded in distancing Ishita from Raman, even here the exact opposite happened.

The only time I felt bad for Ishita was the one hour she spend alone before Raman sought her out. She must have been through hell. Once Raman came, she was in no mood to let him off the hook, he had explanations to give and choices to make and he didn't back out. As individuals Ishita and Raman have accepted that Ishita cannot conceive, but it is important that they deal with this as a couple. Today when Ishita asked him why he chose her if he wanted to be a father again, Raman had to make it clear he didn't intend to demean her, He wasn't thinking of her inability to conceive when he made that statement. It was heart-warming to see Ishita trust him on that and drop the subject. This matter is still not yet over, it will come back when intimacy becomes a part of their relationship. There will be moments of wishful thinking on the part of Ishita and Raman to create a child of their own, and it is normal, it doesn't mean Raman loves or understands Ishita any less or Ishita feels inadequate. Sometimes we wish for a miracle, you dream of the impossible... these wishes or dreams don't break you... but they sometimes come true... so why give up hope... no matter how tiny or secret it is.

Coming to the main highlight of the episode for me... Ishita, in her soft yet firm manner asserted her position in Raman's life. Long gone is the Sirf Ruhi keliye' maxim. She is no doormat, she is second to none in Raman's life... she may be walking on egg shells when it comes to Adi and Raman's relationship... but Raman made it clear that Adi and she have their rightful places in his life and they are not at conflict. Raman's assurance gave her more confidence and she put the Shagun angle in their lives in the right perspective, in a positive one. She asked him to let go of the bitterness and show respect to a woman who gave birth to his son. And Raman though amazed by her, agreed in a heartbeat because that is exactly what he had done a couple of moments ago and he was at peace. After dealing with Shagun, she diverted the conversation to their relationship... she wanted to be a part of his life as much as she wanted him to a part of hers. Their lives will be coordinated henceforth and they will start with their children, Ruhi and Adi. She might keep her distance from Adi simply because that kid wants it that way, but she will be Raman's confidante and counsel even with regard to Adi. She didn't let Raman off till he put his hand in hers and promised her that they will deal with things together. Why will anyone feel sorry for such a woman? She has won over her husband by just being her good, strong, independent self.

And after all the heavy emotions the couple went through that evening... it was heart-warming to see the couple's carefree moments when they had their dinner at a road side dhabha on Parantha Galli.

A huge round of applause to the creatives and actors who lend more than their talent to this show.
