Ch7 - he's not himself now, under spell at the moment, anasthsia was performed. He's jealous but he simply must have her under any conditions. He has no choice... he can't reject her.

Ch8 He doesn't understand her. He wants to rescue her but it not what she needs. She loved her ex, I believe. I feel sorry for the girl really.

And now the tide starts to turn...

I really wanted to comment on your last chapter but got busy. I liked the mother - daughter conversation very much. Frank and wise as it should be. This point forward it feels like waiting for a train wreck. You don't want to look, but can't turn away. The thoughts and feelings of all family members on both sides is exactly as it would be, you've described that so naturally. And now the first pangs of disappointment. All I can say is, there's a lot more where it came from. Right?

Tina, thank you very much again for your deep thoughts. 😃You don't want to look, but can't turn away.👏it just the resume of the whole story. It's all about fate and again it is about the choices we make or... don't make.

Disappointment is the main theme of my research as you probably have guessed already.
