Why is Mala's backstory not being revealed?

I mean didn't they have ample time today? When Paro is nursing her wounds and has already absolved her of all sins😆...I was hoping Mala would reveal her reasons then for why she did what she did...shouldn't that be the OBVIOUS question for Paro to ask? It's not like she's an outsider anymore...ghar ki bahu and Mala ki laadli and all.

Or is it really all just as simple as Mala despite being a married woman with an 8 year old child to boot and for all practical purposes in a HAPPY marriage, all of a sudden decided to leave cuz she found a more handsome hottie?😆...Cuz all she said today was that she wanted to take Rudra with her when she left...she doesn't seem to feel at all that abandoning her husband was an issue...it was all love after all...also no thought at all to the fact that she would also be seperating a FATHER and SON?😕...It's not like Dilsher was abusing Rudra...and even now he seems to look back at his wife's things almost fondly.

So is there a gap in my understanding or glaring loopholes in their presentation that this is not coming through?😕

Mala understands that Rudra needs time to let her in...sure...but there doesn't seem to be any more depth to the thought process than that...she just wants to apologize for having chosen the wrong man to run away with? The fact that she ran away PERIOD is the bigger issue, in my opinion.

Lots of body doubles and lack of flow today again...but bits that stood out:

1) Rudra's expressions in the first scene when Mala is overcome with emotion at seeing her "chhota sa Rudra" all grown up...fantastic acting from Ashish...especially the switch of expression just as Mala is about to touch him and he backs away and storms out.

2) Paro telling Laila to back off and clearly demarcating her patni haqs...Nice!

3) The Dilsher-Rudra scene when Rudra tells him that Mala is back..."woh laut aayi"...the line of the epi actually😆...I liked the contrast...one minute Rudra bitterly goes, "Teri patni laut aayi, Ranawat" and the next minute when Dilsher is about to fall back onto the bed in shock, Rudra rushes to hold him, "Sambhaal ke Bapusaa"😆

4) I was thinking Rudra getting drunk would all go to waste until the very last scene when he lands up at Mala's room in the BSD place to confront her...I wish we could have gotten atleast one Rudra-Mala scene without body doubles but it doesn't seem like it's happening so far...maybe next week then.

The moment when Rudra repeats the line that has been echoing through his mind all these years, "Pata hai tujhe? Iski maa bhaag chhuti"...brilliantly done...

I guess the rest of this taandav will play out next week...Rudra telling Mala to leave them since they've finally learnt to move on in life without her.

Ashish was brilliant today👏...Such a range of emotions in that first scene...while Mala was busy babbling "Mera Rudra, Mera Rudra", you could feel each word falling almost like a blow on Rudra as his eyes churn with that emotion.

This bit of transition was the best

I did not see any body doubles. Give the story time to unfold! She just got there and Laila had to be dealt with.
Ashish this past week ruled the screen. I never get tired of watching him!

Rudra is going to have one of his rraving rrants on Monday! Cant wait! Loved his rrant during the hate marriage ceremony! ... In the sense, he did that so well!

Just because Mala has now discovered Tejawat's reality, doesn't mean she needs to rush back to her old parivaar, and everything will be hunky dory again. I mean come on, if not this one, then that one ? Having a pati is more important that your own astitva ? Why did you leave him in the first place, if you had to naak ragdo and return one day ?

On another note - I too would run away with Tejawat the hottie if Dilsher was my pati - but I would take my son with me 😆

Seriously?😆 The very first scene was filmed with Ashish's as well as Saadiya's body doubles...and then the very last scene was also Ashish with Saadiya's body double...it's pretty obvious when they aren't in the same frame.

Ofcourse I'm giving time for the story to unfold but my question was based on what they've shown of Mala so far...I feel today was a golden opportunity for Mala to reveal some of her reasons to Paro atleast...but we got nothing...instead Mala continues to be revealed as remarkably shallow and insensitive in her dealings regarding this situation and what she did to Rudra.

i dont know that how to say it, but Maala came off as very selfish tonight. She wanted to drag Rudra out with her and away from dilsher ? and when she could not so she chose the other option. In both the cases Rudra would be deprived of one of his parent right ? How does that simplify her remorse ?
Best scene, indeed standout scene of tonight was in the BSD, a sleeping Maala woke up by a drunk Rudra. I could not watch it beyond a point , i dont know, i literally wanted to cry when he was repeating those mockery filled words directed at him in the school. Its Ashish, who did it time again , the intensity and the hurt oozed out and it can move anybody into tears.

I loved Dilsher and Rudra scene also, both tumbled off their feets, this woman can be so much damaging, Dilsher frightened at Rudra's condition, i loved the fear in his face for Rudra, his son. I loved how Rudra told him that " teri Patni ", ohh that was torturous.

To be honest the episode was a let down apart from these two amazingly performed scenes. I did like the first scene when Rudra could not stop his tears and while Maala approached to caress hi face, ohh boy the hurt turned into angst within a second and how brilliantly Ashish did it.

Oh, Mala's backstory is the suspense, Anu! They have to build it up so and one fine day or days it will be revealed. Dilsher and Rudra have to play a part when it is revelaed too. So SHAANT!
I liked the epi.
Mala-Rudra - the first scene was awesome. Both their expressions. And when Mala reached out to touch Rudra, his expressions were too good. Like he really needed his mother's touch, but the hurt and pain come seething back in the form of anger. And he moves away. It was very well done. The last scene! Again brilliant. They way he said 'Iski maa bhaag chooti'. 👏 Waiting for the remaining part. Mala is living in some delusional world. I was happy she at least thinks that she needs to give Rudra some time. This backstory better be good. Or I will never forgive her even if Rudra does.😆

Laila-Paro - YAY! Now that I loved. 🥳The way Paro put Laila in her place. I loved it when she said that Rudra needs his wife now and not Laila. I was not expecting this. So it was a very pleasant surprise!

Rudra-Paro - Sigh. I don't know what to think of this. I knew Paro will ask him to face his demons and not run away. But something in that scene - where he asks Paro to come with him...Her Pati...She asks him not to leave...And then he gives her this look before driving away with out her. Like you won't come with me and be my support at this time? Or maybe I am reading too much into it?

Dilsher-Rudra - Awesome scene where Rudra breaks the news to Dilsher - Woh Laut aayi!

Ok...That BSD office room of Rudra's is a multi-purpose magical room!😆

you wrote each single thing as it came up in my mind... I also had the same questions. I also liked the scenes you mentioned...
I guess they will bring it out slowly... Maybe paro was worried for her health and was giving her time to recuperate. paro was shown to be forgiving easily, but she is not the sufferer- so its OK. its easy to say that to others.

I really really wish for two things-

1. paro should be shown asking her why she abandoned rudra? after all she is her mother figure and is her mom-in-law now. she is happy about the relationship status but she should also consider her husband's feelings and try to understand things from his view point also (which she not been shown to be doing so far). she has the right to ask and she should before taking matters in hand and repairing.
2. please please do not make paro bring mala back into the house. i hope mohini or dhanveer or somebody else brings her... but not paro... it is one thing to help Rudra face his demons and not run away from it (which i agree fully) its totally another thing to bring her back into their lives, make him forgive her and accept her back in their lives. especially since dilsher is still alive! his feeling too should be considered.. i hope in the race for TRPs they don't make paro a perfect bheedni material and do all that non sense...

Yesterday's episode rudra had mentioned to her he is very tired of running and doesn't want to run from past..that's what paro said to him today..He asked her a ques, want to come with ur pati or stay here and she said don't run major Saab and he had a soft face..as if he knew what she was telling was right.. And that's what he did when he got drunk..he came back to ques Mala.
