To increase the trp rr, the creative team should have a adaptive mind which recognises the pulse and demands of the audience and be eagle eyed enough to spot their faults and not keep saying that Laila is the reason of their growing trps. And at the end of the day people wish to see program's which relaxes them and not a program which is full of negativity.

GEC Watch: Finally, Life OK displaces Colors from No. 3 position

The channel adds maximum viewership among top Hindi GECs to beat Colors by a margin of 18 GTVM in Week 22 of TAM 2014

After being being in and around the No. 3 position for several weeks, Life OK has finally unseated Colors from the No. 3 position in Week 22 of TAM 2014. Life OK achieved this by adding maximum viewership among top Hindi general entertainment channels and took a lead of 18 TVM over Colors.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 22 of TAM 2014 (May 25 - May 31) for CS 4+, HSM markets, as Star Plus continued to be at the top despite losing maximum viewership. Zee TV consolidated its position at No. 2. Life OK became the new No. 3 GEC pushing Colors to No. 4. Sony and SAB TV remained at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

Star Plus lost 44 TVM and dropped to 655 GTVMs with relative share of 27.72% (last week 699 TVM with 29.63% relative share).

Zee TV consolidated its No. 2 position by adding 13 TVM. The channel fetched 400 GTVM with a relative share of 16.93% (last week 387 TVM and 16.41% relative share).

Life OK added maximum eyeballs this week and recorded 365 GTVM with a relative share of 15.45% (last week 333 TVM and 14.12%).

Colors dropped further to 347 GTVM with a relative share of 14.68%. (last week 360 TVM with 15.26% relative share).

Sony too added 27 TVM and garnered a gross viewership of 340 TVM with a relative share of 14.39%. (last week 313 TVM and 13.27% relative share).

SAB TV dropped to 256 TVM this week and recorded a relative share of 10.83% (last week 267 TVM TVM and 11.32% relative share).

(Relative share among Star Plus, Colors, Zee TV, Life OK, SAB and Sony.)

i think thats deliberate , to not have a lot of fiction shows , fiction is an space where star is unbeatable , so they choose non fiction not much competition there

and they were right in doing it , KNK , BB gets them good trps and more than TRPs visibility

now whats to be seen is how they do their restructuring , it can go either ways , more shows in fiction , or limited shows in ficiton and concentration on another segment

why do i feel they are not going the fiction way , heavy competition buddy

some shows will be scrapped , new positioning and image , because distribution is a step wise , yeah more distribution too

So TVM could be 2.5 or 2.6
We need to wait for the actual figures to know if they decreased or stayed stable
Am more curious to know the MS TVM/TRP

1.2 is not that bad... i am happy..😳 i still think colors needs to concentrate on promotions. lesser the repeats and more promos. i hope meri aashiqi tum se hi will be of 7 pm slot show. * fingers crossed* and bb will be air on 10 pm slot. so that bi and rr get chance. i really feel now its time to end uttran.

hope what u say actually happens...regd matsh ..i m 100%% its nt going to 7 pm slot..its ekta shw..so it will take prime time slot...sure abt tht..hope its takes 10 pm slot...

regd bb there have been issues regd the content..and there were rumours of going to 10-11 slot..but colors continued it in 9-10 slot..hpoing that this year it comss between 10 and 11...

there are lots of shws that thy can end..atleast the old ones...lets see..🥱

i agree they get good trps in non fiction shows but fiction shows' less TRP eats their TVM. they should atleast try to make it stable the trps of fiction shows so that TVM can be balanced. i think this week there were no reality shows coz kkk is over and jdj is launching this week thats why they dropped fictions have not played that much part in this decline
