2)Ishra marriage

3rd will be during Tamil New Year...if its shown

It would be nice to see them celebrate the Tamil Puthandu, it's an Important day for us Tamils. & the "Panguni Uthiram" it also an important day based on the star&full moon and as it holds a lot of significance to the different re-carnations of Lord Vishu and the wedding Lord Siva & Parvathi + Murgan & Deivani/Andaal.[2 wives actually] Usually on this day, all would go to the Murgan Temple and offer milk and some would take Kavadi's as well.

P.S. Mrs Iyer better go to the temple since half the time she keeps mentioning the Lord Murga's name.😆 "Aiyooo Murugan. usually using the aiyooo term they won't say Murugan they would just say aiyooo Muruga.

& Yes Mages is right. Lungi is sort of like the night dress for men. Only inside the house or when sleeping. For occasions and festivals have to wear the proper Veshti. There are actually many types of veshti's as well, ranging from the most expensive to least expensive similar to sarees.

All the explanations are bang on.
Tamil New Year - Is as important as Pongal as it marks the start of a new calendar year with "Chithirai" Month.

It is Veshti - not lungi. Hate that song that made everyone think tamil men wear lungi. Ewww. Lungi is night dress and it is colorful. Veshti is traditional it is pure white or half white (if silk).

Ekta should definitely make them celebrate Tamil New year to bring authenticity into the show and also give a glimpse of KP in Veshti. Wow it suits him sooo very well! Just fell in love with him in that attire! Perfect Tamil Marumagan.
