For me the best part of the film is the Hungama Ho gaya sequence..Kangana owned the whole scene😆 Esp the part where she thinks of what Vijay said and then starts dancing again..her eexpressions in that scene...wow!

nah, for me it was the thief trying to snatch away her bag and how she was holding to it and screaming, "Mummyyy... mummmyyy!"🤣 For the first time, I think in history of indian cinema, they have shown a girl defending all alone by herself. Otherwise, there is always a hero making entry nah.

Okay just finished watching the best film I've seen since Lootera.
WOW!!!!!! Have to say. This film gives you moment you'd cherish for a while. Every single character in this film is well written. Whether the jerk ex-fianc, 3 mates in Amsterdam each belonging to different nationality (especially Sikandar aka Olikzandre), or Vijaylaksmi the special friend in Paris who can speak very limited hindi or simply Rani who develops from nave and simple girl into a bright and independent lady who chooses her pathway.
There is nothing to dislike here. The pace can be slow at times but still good. Music by Amit Trivedi is praiseworthy. Harjaiyaan is well picturized when it shows her leaving for foreign countries. London Thumakda, Kinare and Ranjhaa fits well with the story. Cinematography and background score is brilliant. Locations such as Amsterdam & Paris are shown well. Just some moments like in the church or outside Eiffel tower becomes memorable as you see the calm side of the people Rani meets in her journey. Direction is one of the best things about Queen. Vikas Bahl. I saw his Chillar Party. It was a good film. But seeing Queen. It's hard to tell it's from the same guy. Brilliant work by Vikas. Wish to see his future projects.
Performances. KANGANA deserves national award for a sweet character like Rani. She portrays it so honestly and makes you feel her weaknesses and strengths. She makes you believe you can be fearless in stranger places. She is also nave. I mean come on. She buys a boob cap for her brother not releasing what exactly it is and a dildo thinking it's massager for joints 😆. She also calls home to ask translation of HING so she can ask Italian cooks to give her that ingredient😆. Lisa Haydon plays Vijaylaskmi. They better nominate her for awards. She was superb as half 'Spanish' and half 'hindi' chick who looks too hot to be a mom. 😳 Rajkumar is good. You might hate his character. Especially if you're a woman. The 3 guys in Amsterdam. Sikandar (dutch guy) whose name is Olikzandreshares lil screenspace with Rani but wished they had more time on coz they shared good chemistry. Other 2 were brilliant. Italian chef who is arrogant but hilarious. Her family was also filled with funny ones like dad and brother who wants to chat with Vijaylaksmi coz she is attractive and shows cleavage while chatting on webcam with rani. 😆
Films shows a lot of truth in the society we all live in. How fake the auntyji's can be to show sympathy. How girls would move to different city and take up jobs which they've never wished to have taken only to support their family despite having good qualifications (sad truths here in NZ too)😭. And Rani's character travels through this and turns out brave. And makes you enjoy her journey.

This film is for all. Guys who makes promises and can't commit. Women who are scared to overcome their fears. Or if you just wanna feel good after watching something hilarious yet mashed with a heartbreak story of an innocent one.
👏👏👏
I give it 5/5

Also this is shocking to say these 2 girls (Kangana & Lisa) were the lead heroines in one of the worst film of 2011 - Rascals 😆

Yup, and the last scene with Vijay's mom was so eww... 🤢. That aunty was just creepy. She's like we both will watch tv together, gossip together, go to satsang together, and join kitty party.😆 And did you see the way her eyes were scanning Rani with her new makeover? she was thinking like, "Chalo, now my bahu is modern and I can show her off to my kitty friends."😆

On another note, I wanted Rani to hook up with the Oleczander dude in the end. He had such a charming smile.☺️ ore even that Italian restaurant owner.😛 My heart broke, when they simply said goodbye and went away.🥺 I was like, shit man! yeh kya hua? Is Rani really going back to Vijay gadha?!😆

@bold: same..The romantic in me wanted them to hook up..and wanted her to stay in Amsterdam and open her own restaurant..😳

same..One of the best scenes..the problem with such movies is it's so hard to have a favorite scene! It's all so relatable..when she's in the cab and she's trying to pronounce the name of her hotel-that was so me..😆
Also none of the other stories felt too much..the director touched on many issues-Haydon's backstory, the stripper's backstory, Taka's backstory-but it never got cluttered..

Did anyone notice the credits for additional dialogues mentioned Kangana in the beginning?

Sad 😭 It would've been better choice than the chef who was a jerk in my opinion.

I have mixed feelings about him..I liked the lip to lip(and her getting ready for it)..and how he's amazed and said "is this your first?" but by then I was shipping King Sikander and the Queen so badly that I didn't enjoy it..
but he helped her get rid of a lot of her fears-about working and being independent(financially)..so he was pivotal to the story in that sense

Also Sikander was totally attracted to her..by not making her aware of his feelings, the director maintained Rani's naivety..or he just didn't want the cliches😆

When she's sightseeing and is trying to run away from the Eiffel Tower😆
