Awesome post.

These things stood out for me.

1) Paro Baisa may be quiet and innocent but may be not .😆 She questions Major "what kind of Biwi would he like"?

2) Major is full of overconfidence and lesson learned from Friday- please don't take anybody for granted😆. Paro Bai sa may look soft but she is ready to go toe to toe with him. Major has handled a lot of criminals in his life but this may be the hardest one yet.😛

3) Kaki may have won a small battle but she can reduce that grin because she is going to lose the war.😆

4) Precap- Major loves spying😉 and is shedding the purdah one by one. Step 1- calling her Paro.
Step 2- holding her wrist. Major already has a slap from the senior lady and he seems to be in for another one. (No applying balm on cheeks this time)😆

Hi Tennessean! welcome to RR...😃
I am excited to see your post!!

I agree with you totally...as far as the test of wills is concerned the major has met his match...She will not sign the papers because she thinks the accusations against the Thakur are wrong...

About watching it as an entertainment...yes, of-course...but it varies from person to person...right? Regressive material or any kind of violence is not a form of entertainment for me...RR was promoted as a lovestory and not as a hate/distasteful triangle with two women involved...it's dark already. I will stop watching it whenever it gets distasteful to watch.

I agree
the issue with most of the tele soaps i feel is the restricted characterization for the female lead , on one hand they want to capture the female audience but on the other hand if you see all the show there is very less variation in the female characterization , they want to show she patient ,tolerant considerate
but i feel somewhere these writers should know where to draw the line
tolerant to what? i think is a important question
forced marriage doesnt really appear in one odd show , it is a trend in a whole lot of show , so is a abusive and in considerate husband
by repeatedly showing this i fear it is sendign a wrong message about the institution of marriage , not that the viewers are not intelligent enough to differentiate between reality and fiction , i feel it is irresponsible in the part of the writers
@sush
no disagreement in your analysis of the everyday episodes , infact i read you sushpective post everyday ,😊
i just feel the writers should not again take the tried and tested route of forced marriage
seen that already , i think it will make the show boring in a few weeks because we know what is in stock
this story has a lot of scope , it is not a silly MU , on paro's part , they should not dilute it and go back to making her a punching bag
by saying that i domt mean i want to see a filmi paro either

I get your point @ttt1 and all others who have made similar points about the "forced marriage" being the tired formula present in every other soap with not much creativity...
I havent seen too many soaps, and this is the only one I am watching now...so ...the fatigue of watching the same old may be a lot less for me...😃
BUT
No doubt that creativity and innovation are always the best answer. Lets see where the makers are going...and if they are able to keep up with the expectations they have created by their own work so far...😃
