Nice take. I didn't find the episode a damp squib as most of them here felt, it was in a way hilarious as you rightly said. i enjoyed it without going much into the logic.
I loved the way Rudra said Paro, so cv's answered one of our questions, what will Rudra call her when he is in love with her?

For such a serious character major sure has bright taste in colours!
Even Samrat can't match him...!

I think one of those days...when I am not liking the content or don't like Rudra or Paro...all these other things like the accent and the manhandling and the dresses are going to bother me...but for now...all seems OK...because the lead pair interactions are keeping me engaged...

Was talking to a friend of mine here also an NRI...who is also crazy about watching RR...although she does not do IF...and she and I were like...who could imagine that we would find some one so rustic with such big mooch and all...an attractive male lead...but we do...so far...colorful clothes are OK...they go with Rajasthani background I guess...although as I said the white Kurta today and the back one the other day are my favorites...

I do have to say, although I didn't pay too much attention to it before...but I do like how Sanaya is wearing her scarf now...covering her tummy a bit...the chunni in the bridal dress with that small a choli was some how not suitable as a bride...with fully exposed midriff...the current style seems more natural...of how people would wear it in a Rajasthani village...it's funny but living in the west...a bare midriff seems more revealing than someone exposing their legs wearing shorts...cultural differences I guess...

That's quite a long answer for a small post...😆

Loved your take on it! and everything you say resonated. Thoroughly enjoyed the episode. This week's been gripping (for me), and I think in part it has to do with being really busy at work and having time only to catch the epi. no spoilers.😉

Am visiting India for work and family and its interesting to see the epis on TV, though I really miss the dialogues, which I can rewind and catch better online.

I for one was totally taken aback by what Paro told Kaki about not wanting to marry him! Don't know what's coming next, but I assume she's not jumping to the other side suddenly -- she knows better than that! And it was ironic bec I was watching it with my aunt and after kaki tries to inveigle her way into paro's psyche, by aunt said wonder what paro will do now. and I confidently told her - never, not for a minute will she fall for it bec she knows better. and then came that statement from paro and I was like 😲

Looking forward to what they show on Monday.

(or I'll probably find it out on the forum this weekend 😆

Hi Dazee...
The # of spoilers have been just too many! Must be a result of IF junta hyperventilating since Tuesday about how all was going down the drain...😃

I think them providing some options to Paro...specially one about running away ...is a smart thing to do...Lets them show she exploring her feelings...and has some decisions to make...Something will go wrong right before the actual wedding rituals...but it won't be driven by her...

Thats my prediction ...but who knows...unless you know ...they decide to give that away in advance...😆

Enjoy your visit to India...watching on TV is a different experience...a couple of shows I saw over there when I visited over summer ...I was looking for pause and rewind button...Alas no DVR...yet!

The bright colours suit the actor...just wondering about the character...😆.
Oh I agree completely about Sanayas dress...saw so many posts criticising those who expressed just what you expressed about the earlier ghagras...it's not even about exposure...it just looked odd...I mean why would a shy girl like Paro wear a dupatta folded like a towel on the shoulder...if you see the earlier episodes it was not looking very appealing either! Now she looks very nice...!
Regarding manhandling and accent well seen in connection with the story it doesn't jar and of course keeping in mind that this is a fictional character helps!
