lol that reminds me of when I went to see Ram Leela ..there was a baby in front of us that just wouldn't stop crying. Poor kid was probably traumatized by all the graphic scenes 😭😆. Some great parenting skills displayed that day.

On topic: I've never actually witnessed that. The movie goers in my area(I live in the US) don't even make any noise during songs...kinda lame if you ask me.

Annoys the hell out of me. The three films I've been to where the crowd were screaming was Don 2, Dabangg 2 and Chennai express.
I felt like slapping the person next to me.

Dude I watched De Dhana Dhan few years ago in an Indian theatre. The whole time people were laughing, screeming, hooting, clapping and jumping . It was really fun in a strange way though. I enjoyed the experience 😆 Usually I watch it at the AMC because that's closer to my house but this one time I went to the Indian theatre and it was honestly a blast. 😆 So I can only imagine how much wilder it would be in India. 😆

My heart leaps ONLY when Shahrukh makes his initial entry. <3 But I don't scream and shout.

You need to come to my state. 😆 The Indian theatre here gets jam packed during those big releases and people go bat shit crazy for real. 😆 Honestly I never knew there were so many Desis in my state until I went there once for Dhoom 2 and then for De Dhana Dhan. 😆 On the flip side, strangely, all Desis are quite sober and quiet at the AMC even if it is filled with only Desis. Go figure. 😆

No.
Just because I personally get pissed off when people do that. I understand that they expressing their emotions but it becomes annoying when you are trying to listen to a dialogue and the people are hooting, whistling or doing whatever they feel...
