I agree, some songs instantly u like, some will grow on u, so glad arijit is on the album! Cannot wait to watch the movie!

My fave is jiya by arijit, such as a beautiful love song, the aslaam-e-ishqum which is so seductive, it's definitely priyankas cabaret song.

Then saiyaan and ghanti, overall I think it's a hit album!

just listen to the whole album...god its such addictive and seductive album...

Jiya...what a beautiful song...Arijit voice was mesmerising

Aaslam-e-Ishqum is more like seduction song...

Saiyaan...the lyrics wee heart-touching

Tune Maari Entriyaan...its a masti song...totally ranveer-arjun types of pataoing beautiful ladies...

i am giving a 9.5/10 to the whole album...what a great start of music for 2014...first was HTP...and now Gunday

I don't know why but I feel the songs have typical Paki vibe to em ... How normally we get to hear their songs. Especially Saaiyan. Loving em.

It is a really great soundtrack! Between this and the upcoming Highway soundtrack (I love A.R. Rahman and I love the first Highway song), my playlist will be filled for the next few months!

I love "Jiya," but the more I listen to " Jashn-e-Ishqa," the more I love it! It must be an earworm or something.

I like Jashn-e-Ishqa more than the ghanti song. The album is actually good. It is one of those albums which is better with visuals as was the case with Ram Leela. I like the love/friendship between Ranveer-Arjun more than the romance part, though I am sure Priyanka will be good in the movie.

Less time, quick review

Jashn-e-Ishqa is adequately entertaining with the mood of celebration while Tune Maari Entriyaan is pleasantly spot on! Heard before, slightly, and I didn't quite understand the 'Yennadi Muniyamma' reference in between. Copied or inspired? The Bangla version intrigues, though not much different. Moving on, Arijit Singh pulls a neat effort in the sober and soulful Jiya but it is the brilliant orchestration which does the trick in Asalaam-e-Ishqum. Bappi Lahiri and Neha Bhasin plays along wonderfully! Saiyaan run out of luck as soon as it begins but the album gains through the superbly re-imagined Amir Khusro poem, Mann Kunto Maula. The Faridis stuns in the well composed, well arranged sufi-rock affair! The Classical version with the qawwali flair is as good! The techno title song is kind of functional and Rhythm Of Jashn-e-Ishqa doesn't really offer anything new.

Verdict : Gunday has good music! ;)

Must Hears! : Tune Maari Entry, Kunto Maula
