Thanks,Nandini. But, why did he chose to be with Duryodhan when he knew that he was selfish?

because Duryodhan gave him a standing in the society, he wasnted freedom from sutputra tag and duryodhan gave him that. so Karna pledged his loyalty to hi.
he knew duryodhan's evil and even tried to give him right counsul but at the end of the day he remained loyal to him

But,being loyal doesn't mean you support that person even when he's wrong.Atleast he shouldn't have encouraged Duryodhan in Draupadi's vastraharan.

in private maybe he told Duryodhan what was wrong. We cant be sure of that. but in Mahabharat people are shown to abide by their oath

Bheeshma
Dron
Karna
Arjun

all of them and many other characters stood by their word and promise

now was it right or wrong is debatable

but it was right in those people eyes

yes encouraging Duryodhan is possibly the only wrong that he did

maybe he was taking revenge on Draupadi for not allowing him in her swamvar

he was wrong that is why we call him a grey charecter but he was not black

Yes, I agree with you. But,there were many other ways of taking revenge. Just because Draupadi didn't allow him in the swayamvar doesn't give him license to disrobe her.

No it doesnt thats why he was wrong. thats why he got killed. Thats why Dharma left him in the end and he forgot his education and his chariot wheel was swollowed by the earth
you get what you give Karmic law

it applied to everyone whether on this side or that

thanks for the update Srush

I am loosing interest in this show. I had some high hopes from it

but i have to hang around now am a DT member 😆

Nandi...I dont hold the Cvs in contempt for showing Arjun singing and playing Veena...It might be a creative touch but the Rajkumars were to be educated in every field then...and they were supposed to be good connaiseurs of music...so thoda idhar udhar is fine...Even Subbbi's appearance can be forgiven...if I did not find the whole chhoti bachi thing in the encounter...but what I absolutely hated was the complete lack of communication between Bheesma, Vidur and the Pandavas...
Vidur was the one who saved them from Lakshagrih (your fav part😆) and he was the one who groomed Yudi to some extent for being a King...Bheeshma is supposed to be attached to Arjun...how else will they show Arjun crying when he would put Bheeshma on the bed of arrows...this Arjun looks like he will happily put Bheeshma on the bed of arrows and wont care a bit😕

Also, what happened to the soft hearted and sensitive and quiet Arjuna...he has turned into a guy with sense of humour which was actually Bheema...
I think I praised CVs for their character portrayal TOO early🤢
