Addu woke up with a start and found himself in a small place he touched the brown texture of the walls and the cloths covering him. He tried to find a way out but failed. He looked at the opning over his head and tried to figure out what is this place. He could feel the rhythmic jerk and the continuous mechanical sound, he heard the noise attentively, it had it's own rhythem "jhik-jhik, jhuk-jhuk." But after listning he could extract out some peoples voices, and all are unknown to him. Now he became really curious to know the outside and he tried his best shot, kicking and hitting the walls of his little prison.
Mr. Rajnish Kapoor was reading newspaper pacefully and staling glances to his wife who was engrossed in her little chit-chat with the co passnger, a girl of mid 20s going home for her vacation. He smiled at his wife's behaviour, this lady was so desperate to find a good match for their younger son, so that she tried to be frindly with each girl of that age she meets. She mentally imagine the girl into the place of her future DIL and talked to know about her family & other informations. But unfortunately,at the end of the day, she always rejects the girl.
Suddenly he felt the basket kept near his feet was shaking too much, first he ignored it, thinking it must be due to the jerk of the train, but when the train stoppd in a station, and the baskt kept moving, he couldn't ignore it and called his wife.
Rajnish : Mrs. Bulbul Rajnish Kapoor! Jara yahan najar daalne ki kasht karenge??
Bulbul : Jee Patidev!! Farmaiye!!
Rajnish : Yeh aapki "safar ki potli" main kahin Rathods ki housecat ko daalke toh nahi layee ho na??
Bulbul : Aise kyun puch rahi ho? Aapki butter chichn kha gayee kya?
Rajnish : Nahi nahi...jara gaur se dkhiye!! Aapki potli ki andar usne BHARATNATYM karr raha hain!
Now she saw the basket was skaking. But she didn't dared to touch it.
Bulbul : Mujhe kyun dikha rahe ho! Khud edkho na andar kya hain!
Rajnish : Main kyun dkhun!! Tumne arrange kia tha..tum dekho!
After a good session of kicking and yelling, Addu stopped a bit, to catch some breath, when he heard two voices were fighting. Though they are not that familiar, but the verbal match was similar to his maternal grandparents. He wondred who they are, and this time he again tried to get up, making some noises, Actually he was calling them to get him out of this place.
Bulbul gripped her husband's hand as she heard a soft sound coming from the basket.
Bulbul : Suna aapne! Yeh aawaz kaisa!
Rajnish : Zaroor billi hogi...dekho na!
Bulbul : Mujhe darr lag raha hain..app dekho..
Rajnish : Main? Agar kaata toh...
Now Addu started crying loudly.
Bulbul : Baccha !! yeh baccha kahan ro rha hain?
The girl sitting opposite to the couple spoke up and she informed that the crying sound was coming form the basket.
Rajnish : Arre nahi beti..yeh baccha nahi..billi hi hain...(to Bulbul) nikalo na!
Bulbul made a long face and opned the lid of the basket, and Addu was quick to grab the side and peep outside.
Bulbul : Yeh..yeh...
Rajnish & that girl : Baccha!!

Arjun asked Roshni to come to the car with Addu and he left to bring his car. But it was more than 20 minuts his wife didn't turn up. "Ladies! He thought, inki chit chat kavi khatam nahi hoga... arre, itna kya baat hain jo baad main nahi ho sakta!" He was rally irritated by then and moved inside.
He found the pople busy in searching something...including Roshni. Arjun stopped her by grabbing her hand.
Arjun : aab kya hain Rosh! Chalo...mujhe ETF vi jaana hain...
Roshni : Pata hain...pehle Addu ko toh milne do!
Arjun : Aab Addu ko kya hua!
Roshni : Pata nhi...tum logon ke sath hall main couch pe chora tha...aab nahi mil rahah...tumne kisike godh main toh nahi dia na?
Arjun : Nahi toh! Tumn kisko dia tha?
Roshni : Neha ko...usne kahan ki tumhari paas bithake gaya tha...phir...oh jab aaya tab Addu yahan nahi tha..
Arjun : Mere paas se toh koi aur nahi legaya?
Roshni : Tum batao? Kaun tha?
Arjun : Pata nahi...
Rathod : Kahin tere chota paket ne khud kahi chala toh nahi gaya na?
Arjun : Khud kaha jayega?thikse chalna toh dur, crawling vi nahi aata usko...
Shree : Kya pata sir...kuch nahi aata phir vi chuhe ki tarha idar udhart chala jaata hain...ya phir kisi ladki ke saath...
Liza : Yahan sab ladkiya maojud hain..aur Addu ko dhoond raha hain...
Aisha : ek kaam karo...pura ghar main dekho...kahin kisi kone main jaak so toh nahi gaya?
Roshni : Quite possible...subha yawn karr raha tha..
Arjun : Ok...chalo sab dhoonte hain.

Bulbul took the crying boy into her arms and tried to calm the little thing. She started patting it's back and walking to and fro inside the compartment. The comforting hug made Addu's nurves a little cool and he stopped crying. Now he was looking around, to explore the place he was.
It was a big room, divided into small compartments, have couchs and shelves attached to the walls, leaving a long corridor at the centre. People were sitting in the couchs...& some were lying on the shelves. And looking strangely at him. Then he looked at the lady was crrying him, it's a lady of his grandmom's age, wearing a lavender salwar suit, he saw her knee length plait and properly arranged hair. The small earrings and the gold chain she was wearing, now he looked at her face, & he knew what have his curiosity done to him.

Rajnish was looking at the little kid sitting in his wife's lap and wating kheer from that girl, named Ishita, who was really enjoying the feeding job. He felt he saw that kid somewhere but couldn't recall where. Another questing was pocking from inside was how that kid ended up into their travlling basket?
Bulbul's voice broke his trance.
Bulbul : Suno! Aab iska kya kare?
Rajnish : Pehle batao kiska baccha utake laayi ho!
Bulbul : kiska matlab?
Rajnish : aab iss umar main tum itna chota baccha toh paida nehi karr sakti... tumhari uamar nikal gayee...aur maine aisa kuch kia nehi...humari poti toh shadi main aaya hi nehi...nani ke ghar gayee hain..aur yeh dikhne main ladka laagta hain...
Bulbul : ho gaya? aab batao iska kya kare?
Rajnish : I feel...I saw this boy...haan... I saw him today morning...
Bulbul spoke up.
Both :Aisha ke sasural main!
Addu made a chuckle. finally they got it. he made a happy sound and smiled.
Ishita : arre baby! itnaa khussh!!
addu hugged her happily. the way he hugs his ETF aunts.
Rajnish : It's his son...the tall boy...Arjun...haan..sameer ka dost...uske beta hain...
Addu made another happy sound...waving his hands in the air, nodding positively his head.
Addu : boo...boo...baah! (meaning: yes! that's my dad!)
Bulbul stumped on the seat.
Bulbul : aab kya hoga!! wapas toh nehi jaa sakte! aadhe se jyada rasta chala aaya...aur woh log...pareshaan ho raha hoga...
Rajnish : ruko... main Aisha ko phone karta hoon...
Bulbul : meri bacchi...aaj humari wajay se pehle din sasural main uski naak kat jayegi...
Rajnish : Toh uski naam Shurpnakha rakh denge...aab chup baitho...aur mujhe phone karne do.
Bulbul : haan jaldhi karo.
Ishita hugged the cute thing and kissed his cheek.
Ishita : haan...merii Addu-Gaddu...aab jaldhi mom -dad ke paas jaa paoge.
the next isntant Addu loved that girl. unknowingly, she called him by his name. he made another chuckle before putting a wet-sloopy kiss on her nose.

Roshni was crying bitterly, Aisha was trying to compose her while Arjun was frustrated.
Arjun : Sab tumhari galati hain! Kitna laparwa ho tum! Aise he Addu ko chor dia!!
Roshni : aab maine kya kia! He's my son, Damm it!
Rathod was scolding Neha.
Rathod : Agar samhaal nehi sakti toh lia hi kyun? aur jaane se pehle mujhe ya Rawte ko deke jaati...aise kaise chorke gayee?
Neha: App logon ke paas hi toh chora tha...couch pe...
Roshni: Accha!! Arjun! Addu yahan se gayab hua! Aur tum mujhe blam karr rahe ho!! Ek kaam thikse nehi hota tumse!..
Her shout trailed off by the ringtone of Aisha's cell phone.Aisha took th call immediately.
Aisha : Sasriyakaal, Chachu! Itni jaldhi apunch gaye!!
Rajnish: arre nehi...avi vi 3hour baki hain...sun... ter ghar main jo chota sa baby tha na...oh jo yellow cloths main...
Aisha : OH Addu! Arjun sir ka beta!
Rajnish : haan wahi... bohot pyara hain...kahan hain? Ghar chala gaya?
Aisha : Nehi...woh...
Rajnish: Nehi mil raha na?
Aisha: Haan oh kahi chup gaya hoga...mil jayega...
Rajnish : mujhe pata hain kahan chupa hain...
Aisha : (conscious) kahan?
Rajnish : teri chachi ke baskt main...avi avi mila...yehi hain.
Aisha : (almost shouted) kya !! Addu aap logon ke saath hain!!
Rajnish : Haan...
Roshni Snatchd the phone from Aisha.
Roshni : Kya!! Addu hain ahan..aap logon k paas , kais gaya...aap log ais kais usko l gaye...
Rajnish : arre beti shant ho jao...tumhara beta theek hain...avi avi kheer khaya...aur ro vi nhi raha hain...
Roshni : Par aap log usko kyun le gaye? Oh vi ais bina bataye?
Rajnish : hume vi pata nehi chala kaise woh humari basket main aa gaya...par tum chinta matt karo...next train main main khud usko le aaunga...
Roshni : Mujhe Addu se baat karni hain. Usko phone diziye.(Arjun snatched the phone and put it on speaker)
Rajnish : Beta, maa se baat karo...(he put the phone on speaker)
Addu : aa..aa...(meaning : Aayi!!)
Roshni : Addu!! Tu wahan kaise gaya? Tu thik hain beta? Vookh lagi hain??
Addu started reporting his mom in his unique language.Roshni sighed in relief.
Roshni : Ok baby...aab uncle -aunty ko jyada tang matt karna...aur accha baccha bank rehna...mumma aa rehi hain tumko lene...
Now Rajnish took over and asked them to wait for the next train he'll come back with the kid.but Arjun denied.
Arjun : Nehi..aap log ghar jao...hum aa jayenge...
Rajnish : But...
Rathod : no but...uncle..isi bahane hum aapni in law ke ghar vi dekh lenge... aise vi itna journey aap ke liye thik nehi hain...
Rajnish : But wahan se next train toh evening main hain...
Arjun : Hum by road aayenge...aap ghar jao..aaram karo...hum bass kuch hi der main aa rahe hain.
After he finished the call, Rathod shouted for the driver to bring the car, Arjun and Roshni rushed to their SUV. But Rathod's mom stopped them.
Mrs. Rathod : Oye ruko sab!! Ais kais jaa rahe ho!
Roshni : Aunty, mera beta hain...
Mrs. Rathod : And he is in saf hands...don't orry...waise vi raat se pehle usse mil nehi paogee... long journey hain na...
Aisha : Aur mere ghar ka pata sirf mujhe hain...tum log pehle kavi wahan nehi gaye...
Rathod passed Aisha a frustrated look.
Mrs. Rathod : Aise matt dekh...sach hi toh kahan meri bahu ne...thori dr rukh...itni long journey hain..aur pehli baar tu sasuraal jaa raha hain...toh kuch taiyaari toh karna padega na...
Rathod : Marr gaye...mom...hum Addu ko wapas laane jaa rahe hain...formalities phir kavi...
Mrs. Rathod : Bass 15 minute lagga...(to Aisha) tum jaake kuch asy pehno...aur aapna..aur iss nalayk ka bag pack karo...(to Neha) chal..gift's and sweets lena hain...
Riya : toh...hum vi bags pack kark aate hain...
Arjun : No way!! Office jao sab ke sab...aur standby rehna...
Shree : jee sir...just call any of us for help.

Addu was feeling relived after he had talkd to his mother, now he was sitting on Ishita's lap and watching around. The greenery outside, people inside the train, Aisha aunty's uncle and aunt, who are now talking in low voice, they are discussing about welcoming someone in their house, he saw that Aunty called someone and gave instruction. Then he looked at the gross man sleeping in the upper birth...his big belly was going up and down with his breathing... thn his eeys fell on a pink thing moving around and a lady was running behind it.
Lady : Pinky!! Come her...gir jaogi baby...
That Pinky just rushed to Uncle Rajnish nd hit on his knees. Though it a not that hard...but it hurt both, uncle exclaimed in pain and that 4year old girl screamed in double intensity.
That lady took that girl into her arms and started patting her back..
Lady : arre kuch nehi hua...dekho uncle ko vi lagi na...woh thori roya!!
Pinky: Uncle toh big boy hain...woh nehi rote...
Lady : toh woh small kid vi toh nehi roya na!! (she pointed at Addu)
Pinky looked at the yellow bundle sitting on Ishita's lap and climbd down from her mother's lap. She came to Addu and poked his cheek. Addu looked at the girl in sheer surprise. He never met a girl of that age. He studied the girl, fluffy cheeks, small nose and big eyes...she looks like a cartoon..he thought.
Pinky : wow!! Kitnaa cute hain...(To Ishita) yeh aapka doll hain didi!!
Ishita : (cuddling Addu) haan..filhaal mera hi hain...
Pinky: kya naam hain iska?
Ishita: umm...pata nehi...I think..
Pinky : Main ek naam rakhu?
Addu felt someone had put him to no ends of trouble...hat cartoon gona giv me a name!! he rolled his eyes.
Ishita : Haan..kyun nehi...
Pinky's mom called her.
Lady : Come baby, hum aapni seat pe chalte hain...iss baby ko tang matt karo...
Pinky : plz mumma! Kitnaa cute hain...rehne do na...
Lady : nehi...usko pareshaan matt karo...
Pinky : Nehi karungi...sirf khlungi...kitnaa cut baby hain.
She climbed up beside Ishita and kissed Addu.
Pinky : (To Ishita) main yahan baby ke saath baithu...plz...I promise I won't make him cry...
Addu : (in mind) Irritate karke toh dekh cartoon!! Aise rona shuru karunga ki tu rona vul jayegi...
Ishita : (to Pinky's mom) let her stay...kam se kum vaagna toh kam ho jayga na!
Lady : Ok (to Pinky) khabardaar kisiko pareshaan kii toh!
Pinky offered her a cute smile. "She looks cute when she smiles" Addu thought.
Pinky concentrated on Addu, she started talking to Addu and Ishita.
Pinky : Baby, aap boy ho? Ya girl?
Addu gave her a disgusted look and made a sound, waving his hands.
Addu : aah..aa..(Meaning) ofcours boy hoon? Tumko samajh main nehi aata kya?
Pinky : oh kya hain na... girls hamesha pink pehenti hain...taaki unko cute lage...boys blue pehenta hain..taaki woh cute lage...(Addu rolled his eye) ..boys wala cute...aur tum toh yello pehne ho...but phir vi tum cute lag rahe ho...( she held Addu's fists) arre kitni chote hain tumhara haath... pata hain..meri mumma itna chota chota cupcake banata hain...white chocolate ali..but mujhe cadburrywali cupcakes accha laagta gain...itnaa..cute haath hain...baby...aapka naam kya hain?
Addu : aa..guuu (A. N. : Addu ka pronuciation aisa hi nikalta hain!! Hihi)
Pinky :GUGU!! Kitna cute naam hain!! Bilkul aapka naam jaisa..gol gol...soft soft...cute cute...
Addu felt like banging his head, Gugu!! Yeh koi naam hain!! Oh god! Main itna chota kyun hoon jo aapna naam thikse bol vi nehi sakta...aur yeh strange girls aake kuch vi bulata hain...
But his anger vanished in the air when Pinky peaked his cheeks affectionately. This girl is not that bad he thought!!
