^^ yup in my experience the passive aggressive ones are hard cookies.. they give you the false impression of authority😆 And Shilpa put it across rather well - his persona.. he earns the respect of a father figure ( meaning in bigger pictures he takes ownership) and lets her mother him ( which we have seen quite well) I guess it makes up for things she doesn't have in her life.. currently..
guy didnt express much after her elimination.. kept saying its part of the game.. defo a mind to look fwd to.. if he is iron-mind

You cannot underestimate the emotions behind having no one in your life but one person that means the world to you. If something "seemingly bad" happens to them, you react, even thought it seems irrational to the onlooker. To us, yes, it may have seemed very irrational because Asif and Armaan weren't murdering Apoorva. But you have to understand the state Shilpa's mind must have been in. The emotion behind that outburst. If you understand that, the whole outburst will make sense to you. I'm not saying her behaving like a psycho was correct, but her emotions behind it were understandable, given her history.

No problem with 'emotions' or the 'real reason' for a visibly shrieking-lunatic behavior...😊

...But then, later, she should have simply approached the persons at the receiving end of her shrieks and fury and said, Sorry Bhai, I ended up screaming because I lost my dad early...I see my dad in my hubby...got alarmed..lost my top...whatever she wanted to rationalize it as!😊

Frankly, if you ask me, she is a very intelligent woman, perhaps the most intelligent one amongst that bunch!

I always felt she and her husband were playing together with what they thought was a perfect game plan where Apurva would be a completely no controversy guy and she would do the 'dirty jobs' and give one or both of them the best chance of going all the way!

BB team might have felt the duo will continue to rule minds inside house and may be because of that, broke the pair with Shilpa's eviction yesterday!
😊

Don't we all do that with loved ones? We stand up for our family members and friends for various reasons, not because we think they are weak, but because we want to show them that we are supporting them and letting the opposition know that you have to answer to the two of us if you mess with one of them! I saw nothing wrong with that! And I thought her answer was perfect! She said it firmly and didn't let Salman bully her for something that wasn't even wrong!

Now, that is not to say I agree with her "main moo thod doongi" shrieks, because quite frankly, they make her seem psychotic. However, I do not have a problem with the emotion behind it. I think it is valid!

Bang on, couldn't have said it better, you always reflect my thoughts 😉

Just because Shilpa showed her support and even if her reaction was exaggerated, be it because of the show or her real persona, doesn't make him weak or a sissy from any angle. As for the bold bit, agree with ya completely. End of the day husband and wife are a team. If they won't support one another, who will. I mean, if someone misbehaves, should the respective spouse stay back and let the other fight their own battle, be it husband or wife :/ I don't think so. That's what people do and as you pointed out not only couples but we all do it for our loved ones including our friends. I mean on the forum itself we see friends supporting one another. That doesn't mean one is weak or a sissy who can't fight their own battle, it simply means they are by their side if someone tries to mess with them. Generally speaking, I just find it unfair for guys like Apurva to be called hen-packed or sissy just because they have a more of a vocal spouse with a contrasting personality. I don't even know if I can call Shilpa dominating since as "Sonali" pointed out even Shilpa backed off on many occasions when Apurva asked her to. So I see a two way train here where they both have an understanding of each other and their respective personalities. If one thinks Shilpa over-killed it or is dominating or someone who abuses her relationship, then sure, condemn her. But what does that have to do with Apurva being called a sissy. Are we back to the same cycle of name calling and tagging those as weak who are at the receiving end because of their personality 🤔

Shilpa's over-reaction made her come across a bit strongly, but then again she knows where her weakness lies and that's the first step for anyone to embrace their weakness unlike those who roam around without an ounce of guilt.

As for Salman, as many pointed out, he had always come across regressive in his thoughts and bit of a chauvinist who thinks being a man is all about aggression and strength. So I wouldn't even expect him to understand the scenario, let alone not make fun of it. So he did what he always does, bully others and mock them when he can't look beyond his tiny window of thoughts.

Disclaimer: Just my take on it. I just don't like the word sissy being used for guys like Apurva, thus the objection and the essay 😆 But if it floats your boat, go right ahead. End of the day, one can't have the same take on a situation.

We are watching BB for so many seasons and most of the time people blame others for their own weaknesses. At least she had the guts to admit that she is over-protective due to absence of a father figure in her life.

And yeah it will be interesting to watch Apporva now.

@bold...I agree, I liked that she didn't try to blame someone else for her behavior. She knows that kind of display of love does not look normal. Borders on obsession. Supporting is one thing, smothering is something else. But it also could be for the purpose of the show only. Maybe in real life, she isn't like that. One of these days though, I thought she'd go ...A-a-a-ah-Apurva...like SRK in Darr. 😆
I don't like anyone this season and if Apurva plays it cool, I'm gonna support him.

her behavior was borderline crazy but dat surely dsnt reflect on her husband imo..i dnt think he automatically becomes a sissy just coz sakku suddenly acts like a tigress trying to protect her cub by pouncing on the attackers...😆 i actually found it cute...its crazy but since i knew she isnt gonna be having a physical fight wid armaan who is thrice her size so it was actually amusing she took upon him in d flash of a nano sec jumping from jhannum side...looked like a mouse trying to attack dat big dog spike in tom n jerry...😳
honestly its disappointing sallu said apoorv looks like a sissy coz of sakkus behavior...apoorv imo belongs to dat rare breed of men who dnt feel d need to act like they control the woman they marry in order to look masculine...sallus thinking comes from dat old age mentality dat for a man to appear in control he needs to control his wife...sad but true...its commendable dat apoorv didnt yell at his wife wen she fought wid his attackers..he tried to calm her down but never said her to stop just coz it can potentially ruin his macho image...now dats called a man..not d one who continuously tries to act like a macho man by pumping up muscles, ordering his gf/wife,n yelling shouting at her for small things..dats just a sorry sort of a guy who is insecure of his manhood...apoorv went two notches higher in my eyes by d way he conducted himself n sallu just looked like cray cray for trying to pass his wisdom to d couple...
