i still feel Dhanush wouldnt win.. sigh...

Dhanush is a great actor but this isn't his first movie. He has played much tougher and varied roles than most actors in Bollywood. So he definitely does not need a new comer award. Let him compete in the main awards section.

his performance was definitely worth of being competing with the best actor nominees this year.. most of us really want him to atleast get nominated in the best actor nominee.

Dhanush really showed the layers to his character in Rajhanaa so I would prefer him, but Sushant was excellent in KPC too

Just seeing their name in the same frame seems very wrong.
Dhanush won me over big time in Ranjhana, was very skeptical of him prior to it. The scene where he's communicating with Sonam, with her on the balcony- Sushant would never be able to do that in a million years, he lacks the fine nuances.
Dhanush doesn't qualify for the debut award but then neither should Sushant, he's been acting in TV serials a good 6 years before at least.

I think Sushant should win it. I loved KPC and SDR and I think he made a real earnest effort. His portrayal of his character in KPC was really good and even SDR - he was very confident 😊

But if Dhanush takes it - I won't be mad because Raanjhanaa - especially his character was truly heart touching and he brought out lots of emotions in me, a viewer. 😊

So yeah - I want Sushant to get it and I think he will get it. But it's not unfair if Dhanush does. 😳

Dhanush really deserves to be counted in the best actor category for the charismatic performance onscreen.. every emotion was portrayed so beautifully and convincingly by him. his character indeed had numerous layers which he has portrayed amazingly.

i want sushant to win but dhanush has equally good chances.
