Very emotional...but these days I have seen ... That whatever the patient may say... The doctors save the mother first,.. And then the child..I have seen a couple of very close cases... Where the child did not survive due to severe complication but the mother was saved... The hospitals refuse to entertain any pleas of saving the child...at the cost of mother... There are certain laws good hospitals tend to follow..

Akshita - the wonder girl, will always be with him.
Arnav's thoughts during the period of surgery were of his wife advising him and also telling him that no matter what she will always be with him.

Very nice.

Oh you have left the end open. I do hope Khushi too survives along with the child. Can't imagine Arnav without Khushi. Nice OS. thanks for the pm.

You know, there are times when things are better left unsaid.

This is one of those times.
This fid was extremely expressive. I loved how you explored Arnav's emotions.
Thank you for posting this and sharing it with us

Whaa..?
You can't end it like this. Unbelievable!

I was waiting to see what happens to Khushi but the news never came :( Anyway, the good thing is that I can imagine that nothing happened to Khushi. And the bad thing is that I'd never get to know what happens to her in your imagination. So yeah!

I loved the way you've written this OS. All the flashbacks held a promise. And for the first time, it was Khushi who was asking for something from Arnav. Tough it was really heartbreaking to see Arnav like that. So helpless, so heartbroken :(

One of the best things was when Arnav stood up at the sound of Akshita's wails and at the same time he prayed for Khushi's health. That just shows that both these women hold an equal place for Arnav in his life :)

Akshita is a beautiful name.

So delicately penned - held my breath till the end.

And as I am a born optimist I have visualised an exquisite end.

It was numbing. The more I say anything about it, more will it damage the spell this OS has cast. I just want to take your hands in mine and squeeze them with all my heart in the gesture.
