You're welcome...yeah it has a lot of great actors like Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi etc. in it too...so it has that movie like scope in it...I think it's gonna be good since it's being shot in advance before it goes on air...looking forward to it.

@Anu-- thanks for posting that article on Ranjhanaa. It was a ver good write up, especially the part you bolded in the end. The actress seems like a good writer along with being a good actress. The more I read and think about the story an characterizations, the more I like it.

@desi 24-- looks interesting. I will check it out too. So it starts in october? Kinda like fall shows on American telly. I spot a whole bunch of Bollywood actors and the production values look good too.

So, it's like a miniseries with 24 episodes that have been shot before airing. Kinda like how they do shows here in the West.

Yep 24 starts in October and they've been shooting for it since early this year so yeah I think they will finish shooting and then put it on air...I think it will be a weekend biweekly show and will follow a seasonal format if the first season works.


I just finished watching yesterday's JLZ...I liked the subtlety with which they handled Saachi putting forward her choices to Shivam and him understanding too...and then the way she sambhaaloed her grandmas...the family scenes at this point are better than the scenes with Dhruv...his scenes with Dilshad are going OTT...

On a different note, I LOL'd realizing this show TOO has the whole terrace setup...haha...so there will be terrace romance in the future. Dhruv is deffo a bit on the childish side...he seems just amused by Saachi at this point.

Oh a weekend format like YRF shows? Nice. I like that format than the dailies. Gives scope for better writing, execution and a break for everyone involved in the making as well as us the viewers. I hope it works well with the desi audience and then, may be more PHs come up with better shows with better writing in such format. It's way better than dragging daily shows for eons and eons.

Yeah Dhruv needs to cut down on the OTT "Look I'm so cute" stuff...he goes overboard in trying to play up his "cuteness"😕😆

I think the acting can be worked upon...the character in itself is ofcourse immature to begin with...but still it can be shown better acting-wise...and yeah they need to ease up on the Dilshad stuff...it's honestly creeping me out somewhat to be honest.

lol yeah Dilshad stuff is definitely creepy in weird way.
