Asad and Zoya have had their fair share of trials and tribulations...both had childhoods that no one would want...their childhoods shaped them into the human beings they grew up to be...beautiful at heart but incredibly flawed...
Asad built walls around him that were impervious to all except his ammi, najma and ayaan...a young, successful businessman...but scared to fall in love...at his age and stature where so much money and power can easily run into somebody's head, he stayed grounded...fiercely guarding his heart...it was there even if he did not acknowledge it's presence...and it did beat...when he saw her for the first time...his heart beat for Zoya...
Zoya...running away from her own marriage...asking God what went wrong in her life...gets almost knocked down by a very handsome, equally flawed man...gets up unruffled and becomes the Zoya Farooqi we all know...hides the storm of her emotions behind a loud, impulsive, in-your-face exterior...deep down vulnerable, but never in front of someone else...except him...Asad
Fate decided to make Asad see Zoya at her most vulnerable...she put her mask on but Asad gradually uncovered the real her ...his indifference hid his vulnerability...but she gradually broke the wall down...the irony of the situation today was that when there were no walls between their hearts...there was one physical wall in between them...God and his ways...what can we say...
They both know they are flawed but they fit into each other's lives like their fingers fit in perfectly with each other today...whatever they have endured so far, today they were like lovers with all the innocence and glory of first love...they confessed today what they meant to each other...kya yeh sab ek 'I love you' mein samaa sakta hai...i don't think so...
After watching today's episode, i can confidently say two things:
1. Zoya will marry him and be with him till her last breath...she told him that...đ
2. With Tanveer now enlisting Razia in her plan, things can and will get really, really ugly...so it is good that we brace ourselves in advance...
