Apart from acting, Sriti Jha aka Ganga of 'Balika Vadhu' has another passion — writing poems. Sriti is so inspired by Ganga's character and her struggles that she has written a poem about it, which the production house liked and decided to have her recite it in one of the episodes.
Says the actress, "I wrote a poem which was used in my previous show, Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava and this is the second time I have recited my own poem. The characters are so relatable that you can't help but feel the pain and joy they go through."
