Why cant our cops have peaceful family life?

CID has been one of my favorite shows till date, however I just wonder why cant our cops have peaceful family life? Apart from Freedy almost everybody had disturbed family lives. Starting from the hierarchy, ACP has deceased son and lives as a loner, Abhijeet is suffering from memory loss, guilt of not recognising his mother and gain is a loner. Daya again lives alone, according to CWs he is orphan (you never know if they even remember this or not).

Other include

Sachin - Problematic past life, lives alone

Rajat - Sick father lives with him

Poorvi - Sick father lives alone with her (CWs doubtful)

Shreya - No Family life shown

Vineet - Again stays alone

Nikhil - Probably stays alone

This was not the case during the golden days (1998-2003) of CID. Apart from Abhijeet everyone had peaceful family life. ACP sir had a wife and son, Daya sir was a happy man with father (missing bullet), brother, sister in law and nephew(injured witness), sister (Target CID), bother in law (dishonest cop). The then officer Viren had a happy family with wife and kid, Asha had doting mother. Family lives of Frediricks and Sudhakar did not had a mention though they seem to be happy at personal end.

Things probably changed from 2005 when we had Face off series, it happened gradually. I always think these whats the life of our cops besides their work. They use to show Abhijeet or Daya planning or going for picnic or outing but these days it is just work, work and work. They just show a mechnical life and when they seek for human emotion it means one of the cop is either in danger or framed.

Cant we have a normal life for our cops? Some light moments, smiling face. I think our duo look extremely handsome when they smile and so does ACP sir.

I agree with you... The latter part of what u said is absolutely correct... all of them have become robots with some expressions... We hardly get to see them smiling and laughing on some light topic and having fun... during the classics we saw some light moments in CID daily...And duo?? we dint se them investigating together.. we saw them on screen together last in the rajat centric episode.. Trio??? When did we see them together last??? But there's no use complaining about it... All in the hands of FW..!!! And this had become their TRP gaining formula!!

You are right...they have missed this. They feel they get TRP only with trouble. Peaceful lives dont bring trps...or that's what Sony thinks.

Totally agreed with you. I miss those golden days of CID where everything was perfect, while looking at the cops shows us that yes they are happy while doing all that.
But see now... whenever we look at their faces it gives a feeling that they all are not happy with their jobs.. I mean working in a monotonous way, wearing same cloths and shooting approximately same cases is tiering.
And then the team distribution!
We now don't see DUO scenes or Trio even. I don't know what is happening but I miss the old CID!
I think this show needs changes as an emergencey act!! Or they can take a short break and then come back with some new things.

They have made it a children show... People mock about it... And all we can do is jus feel bad... I dont know If I really think of the day when CID is over or its taken a break... But then the way its going now dont know what to say 😕

yes.. my own relatives in MUMBAI do it...They told me straightaway that they were watching it as a COMEDY SHOW!! How bad i felt!! Because of FW wat all we have to hear!!

FW loves it when people say its comedy... people mock the show.. make fun of the show... According to FW all this is popularity 😡

i agree 😡.. But the way my uncle told was really unbearable... "whereever there is a murder they call only CID as if there arent any police in the city..." this is what he sai an he burst out laughing...
An my grandfather's youngest brother living in navi mumbai tells my parents " Dont alow the children to watch CID.It is such a horrible show. It will spoil the children" My anger rose to its peak when i heard this...😡

Btw correction- Poorvi is an orphan(CW confused)😊
and shreyas mom does not stay with her as in bank locker they had shown she n poorvi had gone to some bank to transfer money to shreyas mom😊

Exactly they may think problematic life of officers can bring more trps...
Best example is Abhijeet sir...kitni baar memory loss ho chuka hei... and unfortunately all those episodes got so many trps
