Chapter 32A: A new morning...

3 days passed by and Aisha's wound was almost healed...it just needed to be cleaned and bandaged daily. So the doctor said that she can be discharged soon...She had to rest for a few more days but she was perfectly fine now!

It was a bright new day and Aisha is supposed to get discharged today. She is eagerly waiting to go back home. The hospital, the white bed and walls had bored her to the core...She just wanted to reach back home now. And yes, the thoughts about seeing Pari topped her mind!

Arjun had left early that morning saying that he would come back by the time of discharge which was due in the evening. He had left Aisha in Shree and Liza's company.

As always, Shree and Liza were at loggerheads and this time, it was about Aisha's to be born baby. Though Aisha tried her best to avoid the topic, the duo were hell bent fighting on whether it will be a boy or a girl!

"Boy" Liza screamed while Shree argued, "naah Pari jaisi pyari si angel hogi...imagine two angels! Agar boy hoga toh dho dho SYS sunne padenge...naah re baba"

Liza rolled her eyes grinning "SPECKY...tum bhi na..kya kya reason sochthe ho, huh?...dekhlena boy hoga..."

When their fights got unbearable, Aisha intervened, "stop it guys...mere dekh baal karne keliye Arjun ne tum dono ko yahaan chodo hai...not for fighting..."

Shree: Aisha, yeh ladayi toh issne shuru kiya na?

Liza argued, "nahi tumne kiya tha specky!"

Aisha shook her head in disbelief, "ab phir se shuru matth ho jaana...kitna jagadthe ho tum log...

Liza: humaari chodo Aisha...tum bathao...tumhe ladka chahiye ya ladki...

Aisha: [smiles] Arjun ko ladka chahiye...toh mujhe bhi...

Liza showed a funny face at Shree meaning she won..."dekha..."

Shree doesn't allow her to complete but just ignores and replies to Aisha, "kya baat hai...I really don't believe this...tum aur Arjun sir ke choices ab ek hogaye hai...Pyar ke side effects, huh?"

Aisha said dreamily, "aah aaah...side effects nahi but special effects...all these small things which you let go makes life all the more beautiful...jab pyar hoga tab patha chalega!"

At that instant, Shree looked at Liza and she turned to him as well...their eyes met for a brief moment and Aisha was quick to notice it...she coughed to grab their attention and voiced, "aur mujhe lagta hai ke yeh jaldi hi hone waala hai...ya shaayad hogaya hai!"

Shree and Liza understood the taunt but tried to ignore it and to save them from the embarrassment, Dhruv stepped in at the right moment...SO Aisha couldn't probe into that more...

Dhruv had just landed that morning after a business tour...his eyes were blurred with unshed tears seeing the ever active Aisha he knew confined to the bed...

He rushed to her side and gave her a warm hug...she knew that he would react this way...he was always this soft vulnerable sweet guy who cried for her sorrows...

She voiced patting him to convince him that she was fine, "I am alright Dhruv! Don't worry"

Dhruv replied back as he parted from her, "missed you Aisha!"

Liza and Shree smile at their bonding..."he is a true friend indeed"...Liza murmered and Shree turned to her side and saw her glancing at Dhruv! Something pricked him deeper at the mere thought that Liza was impressed by some other guy!

He fought back his thoughts and chose to keep it all suppressed!

Aisha hit Dhruv playfully, "chal jhootey..agar miss karthe tho pehle aathe na? itne din se kahaan tha, huh?"

Dhruv smiled and sat on the chair beside her bed replying, "kya kartha, business trip mein atak gaya tha...dho din pehle jab Liza ne call karke bataaya tab bhi patha chala...And immediately I rushed back...tumaare pati toh mujhe call karenge nahi na?"

Aisha playfully hit him for that...

Shree cursed under his breath, "toh yeh madam call bhi karthi hai, huh? I shouldn't have stopped tracking her calls!"

The friends continue their chitchat and time passes away...Shree and Liza also join them in due course...

Its almost evening and Arjun isnt back yet...Shree gets a call from Arjun...

"ok sir..hmmm...ek minute"

Aisha enquires what it is and Shree replies holding the phone,"Arjun sir ko kuch dher lagega...humein discharge hoke ghar jaane ko keh rahe hai...doctor se baat karliya hai aur bills bhi settled hai!"

Aisha asks him to pass her the phone..."dho main baat karthi hoom"

Shree gives her the phone and the three of them move away from the bed to give her privacy!

Aisha speaks into the phone, "hello Arjun?"

Arjun understands and speaks, "sorry sweetheart, I am struck in the middle of this work...maine Shree se kaha...tum Shree aur Liza ke saat chali jaana"

Aisha pouted and felt a little disappointed but then she knew that he must be really caught up else he would never give such excuses when it concerned her and replied, "yeah no problem Arjun...aaraam se kaam khatam karlijiye...Dhruv bhi yahaan hai...we will be fine!"

Arjun: Dhruv aaya hai, huh?"

Aisha: haan...subah aaya tha...he is giving me company!

Arjun shook his head amused with his wife's antics...She really knew to get him back to her...he voiced slowly, "sweetheart...be at a safe distance from him...you know your husband is quite possessive...tumaare iss haalat mein mera jealous hona bohat bhaari padega...samjhi ya samjhaavum?"

Aisha chuckled and then replied rolling her eyes, "ARJUN...its high time you stop feeling all this...hum dono dho dho bacchon ke parents hai, remember?"

Arjun: toh kya hua? I will be possessive even when you become a grandmother darling!

Aisha blushed a bit and then grinned...she replied, "forget all this...just finish your work and come back soon...I will be waiting!"

Arjun smiled and replied, "yeah of course...I wont keep you waiting for long...ghar pe milthe hai..bye!"

They cut the call...By then Shree and Liza start packing up the things...then the discharge formalities are done...the doctor gives all the prescriptions and reports...and tells all the advices to be adhered to...

Supported by Dhruv and Liza, Aisha walks to Dhruv's car...

Deep down, Aisha felt that there was something cooking up in Arjun's mind else he would have been there with her...

But she had no clue as to what the surprise was that awaited her...

The door was open and as Aisha stepped in, a rain of glittery particles showered on her...

It was like a party hall filled with balloons and streamers...and Aisha was quick to guess...her lips muttered mindlessly, "Pari..."

And from the room, Pari rushed out to give her a surprise...Aisha's happiness wasn't expressable when she saw Pari smiling and running to her...

But before she could gather her up, Arjun came between and stopped her..."ek minute" and then gathered Pari up and made her kiss Aisha...

Aisha wasn't supposed to lift up anything and Arjun knew what exactly to do...

Aisha smiled at his thoughtfulness as she hugged Pari from his hands and kissed her...Arjun wrapped them in his arms and held them both close in a family hug...now it felt like a family...and they were going to be together forever!

He pecked Aisha's hair gently as she rested her head on his shoulders peacefully...all the black shadows had vanished from their lives...and now it was just peace and happiness...and yes a lot and lot of love!

The doctor had instructed that Aisha should avoid travel...so Arjun planned this out to bring back Pari by the time Aisha got discharged else he knew convincing her would be tough...and the party decorations to welcome back Aisha were all Pari's plan...

Arjun took Aisha to the room and comfortably settled her there while the team and Dhruv settled down with Pari in the living room...

Arjun explained to Aisha about why he planned all this alone and Aisha was all cool with it...

Pari couldn't hold herself back from joining her parents...so she ran into the room and lay beside Aisha wrapping an arm around her mamma...

Arjun smiled at Pari's actions and then at Aisha...He could see that Aisha was really happy with Pari around!

Arjun kissed Pari and then enquired playfully, "Pari darling, tum kisse bohat zyaadha pyar karthi ho, papa se ya mamma se"

It was a tough question indeed but Pari had an instant answer...

Pari got up and crawled onto his lap and replied kissing his cheeks, "papa se..."

Aisha rolled her eyes at the duo while he continued, "toh aaj se tum papa ke team mein ho...mamma ko side pe rest karne dehte hai...what say baby?" [Showing her hi5 ]

She hi 5ed with him agreeing..."yes papa"

Arjun hugged her and as if delegating work, "aur jab papa ghar pe nahi hai toh aapko mamma pe nazar rakhna hoga...aur khayaal bhi...maine kaha tha na...aapke mamma bohat badmaash hai...mere baat nahi sunnthi..."

Pari giggled at her dad's comment about her mom while he grinned at a staring Aisha and continued, "aur phir aapka chota bhai bhi aane waala hai...usska khayaal bhi aapko hi rakhna hai, right?"

Pari smiled and replied innocently, "right papa...jab woh aayega tab maza aayega...main aur nannu dono ek team mein honge...aap aur mamma ek team pe ho jaana...teek hai?"

Arjun casually enquires acting ignorance to the reason, "woh kyun??"

Pari slightly hit Arjun's head and replied, "iss papa ko kuch nahi maaloom...hum dono baccha party hai na? toh ek hi team mein rahenge...aur aap dono bade...toh dusre team mein...aap samjhe ya samjhaavum?"

The last bit, she said in perfect Arjun Rawte style...

Arjun and Aisha couldn't control their laugh hearing that...

Aisha playfully twitched her ears and voiced, "badmaash...apne papa ke nakal kar rahi hai, huh?"

Arjun in turn twitched Aisha's ears gently, "khabardaar agar mere angel ka kaan keencho toh..."

All grinned and cracked up...but then instantly Aisha looked at Arjun silently thanking him for what he did in the most playful tactful manner...He had made Pari understand that a new member was joining the family in a few months and also without offending her or hurting her, made her realize that she shouldn't trouble her mamma...Pari was happily agreeing to all that Arjun said...Aisha herself couldn't have made Pari understand all this with so much ease!

Aisha felt bliss having such a loving person in her life...she couldn't have asked for more...Arjun saw tear drops welling up in her eyes and enclosed her in his arms with Pari in between them...He could read what Aisha was thinking in her mind then...He smiled and whispered into her ears slowly, "I love you Aisha!"

Aisha also threw her arms around Pari and him closing the circle in her loving embrace...a circle of love and protection!

Her silent words of reply "love you too Arjun" was heard by his heart!

They indeed were having the moments of their life which they would cherish forever...

It was dinner time and by then Shree and Dhruv had ordered some dinner for all...they have a quick dinner...Arjun makes Pari eat saying that he would be doing all her chores for her till Aisha is fine...

Pari is so happy that all her small dreams of being at home with mamma and papa were coming true...she had missed a dad's love so far and Arjun was just giving her all the attention and love that she had dreamt of and that too in surplus!

Dhruv was happy for both Pari and Aisha...his best friend was happy and in bliss...what more could he ask for...

Shree, Liza and Dhruv take leave soon after dinner...

Arjun and Pari together see some cartoons while Aisha freshens up and relaxes...

Amidst the fun time and all the giggling, Pari falls asleep in Arjun's lap...she was damn exhausted from the travel...he picks her up and goes to their room...

He had bought a new kid cot which he had placed to a side near their bed...He placed Pari in it and caressed her a bit to put her into deeper sleep...

Then he came back to Aisha...

As he pulls her gently into his arms, he voices huskily, "beti ko sulaadiya...ab maa ko sulaa dhoom?"

Aisha smiles and cuddles closer whispering, "I am waiting"
