Actually she had a very negative opinion of her husband and now that she is married she notices he is much nicer then what he came across as.

I think what took Kashaf by surprise was the phonecall to Zaroon after he'd reached his home, during a little banter when he said he could 'pick her up now' in the middle of night if she wished. She'll now slowly realise his depth for her
