Sonam Kapoor to don bikini for YRF film?

Most actresses have an unwritten rule they follow. They refuse to wear swimwear on the screen. But the moment Yash Raj Films asks them to wear a bikini for one of their films, the rule book gets tossed and they agree. Maybe because they are assured that the banner will present them asthetically, or maybe because no one wants to risk losing a YRF film by saying no.

YRF has always had a thing for girls in swimwear. A few decades ago, it used to be a one-piece swimsuit and we saw the likes of Sonam (Vijay) and Juhi Chawla (Darr) don them. In recent years, it has become almost an unwritten rule that the leading lady will wear a bikini in the film. The latest in the line of beauties to sport the bikini will be Sonam Kapoor in her next film for the Chopra production house.

Esha Deol who had the image of a girl next-door became sexy overnight when she sported the bikini in Dhoom. Bipasha Basu wore one in Dhoom 2. Anushka Sharma who made her debut as the demure, conservative girl in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi emerged in a tiny-winy yellow bikini in Badmash Company and then donned another one for Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and then again in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Kareena Kapoor set temperatures soaring with her luscious green bikini in Tashan. A source reveals that Sonam is currently working out intensely to get that perfect bikini bod.

We are sure papa Anil Kapoor will have no objections to his beti flaunting her fab abs in a film because he has worked in many films where his heroines have worn swimwear. Be it Vijay or Insaf ki Aawaz (with Richa Sharma) or Karobar with Tisca Chopra and Deewana Mastana with Juhi Chawla or Tezaab (with Madhuri Dixit and Mandakini) Anil has shared screen with many heroines in and around swimming pool.
