It is a very different movie with a very unique concept and it is based on a novel "The Three Mistakes of My Life" which is written by Chetan Bhagat. Kai Po Che finished emphatic weekend and film is heading for clear hit status. Made on the modest budget with newcomers, film won over the audience on basis of sheer content.

Film collected 3.05 cr nett on Monday as per early estimates taking film's 4 day collections to 21 cr nett plus. This is a drop of 30-35% from Friday which is superb. Film will collect close to 29 cr nett in week one.

Film will hope to score good in 2nd week too and it should cross 40 cr nett easily unless next week's releases dominate at box office.

After rocking the Box Office in its opening weekend, Kai Po Che! tried to continue the same yesterday. However, the Monday collections of the film saw a slight drop, mainly because of the reduced ticket rates and also due to the obvious 'Week Day' reason.

As per early estimates, this Abhishek Kapoor directorial collected approx 3.20 Crores at the Domestic Box Office. The collections are not at all bad as Kai Po Che! now stands at a Domestic total of about 21.20 Crores at the Box Office.
