Piyush Sahdev belongs to Delhi. He did his education from Delhi University. His sister is also an actress. He is married to Actress Akangsha Rawat. Piyush is a dedicator to work and god. He is religious person and claims to be a simple person, likes to live simple life. He has 6 packs abs.





Piyush Sahdev Is a hindi television , well established and one of the most popular actor. Piyush Sahdev has worked in 10 television shows. His first fame was As Shard in Ghar Ek Sapna on Sahara one. he actor moved to Mumbai in 20 century and before starting career in acting , he was a model.

Handsome actor Piyush Sachdeva aka inspector 'Abhigyan' of "Life OK" channel's "Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath" recently injured his knee while shooting for the show. Piyush's knee got dislocated causing him a deep pain and injury. However, the passionate actor's focus is affected neither towards his work nor towards his shooting timelines.

A close source disclosed that Piyush is quite a professional actor and it was a real delight to see him perform in spite of all the issues with his knee. This incident has brought out his dedication rather.

Interestingly, Piyush resumed the shoots within two days! He even confirmed this and said that although his doctor had advised surgery and complete bed rest, he did not want the work to suffer. He also added that he would go for the surgery once he gets a break from work.

It was aired on DD National in early 2-s. Piyush played lead role in this serial.

Ghar ek sapna
Piyush is well known character Sharad of ghar ek sapna serial. It wass the serial which provided him recognition in the industry !!It aired on sahara one in 2007. He was husband of Neha.

Har Ghar Kuch Kehtaa hai
There were reports that Aamir Dalvi of Saathi Re fame, was slated to enter this serial, but the actor did not turn up on the first day of the shoot, for reasons best known to the actor himself. The actor who now joins the Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai team is Piyush Sahdev, who is now seen in Ajay Sinha's Sahara One serial Ghar Ek Sapna.

Roped in to bring a new twist to Gyan-Siddhi's married life, Piyush played the character of Varun, who was a doctor by profession. He happened to be Siddhi's ex-lover; Varun now went back into the life of Siddhi, played by Aanchal Anand, who is married to Gyan(Sachin Shroff).

 Telly Buzz talked to Piyush Sahdev when the show was on the air who says, "I play the doctor Varun, who is in love with Siddhi. The story will now revolve round Gyan-Siddhi-Varun, forming a love triangle. I am glad to play this role; the creatives feel that this new twist will surely boost the TRPs."

Kyaa Kahein
Kyaa Kahein  is a Hindi language supernatural drama series aired on Zoom channel. The series premiered in August 2004, and aired every Saturday at 9pm IST. The series is produced by Ekta Kapoor, and is similar to Balaji Telefilms' earlier thriller series, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, which aired on Sony TV.[1] Kya Kahein is hosted by actor Irrfan Khan

Geet_huyi sabse parayi
The serial used to air on star one. It started in 2009. Piyush sahdev gained lot of poppuarity due to Role of Arjun in this serial. He was in grey character. He entered in the show to take the revenge from the lead of the show Maan played by Gurmeet chaudhary. He wanted to take revenge because his sister told him that Maan singh is responsible for her suicide attempt beacuse he ditched by not marrying with her. Actually her sister Naintaara was a negative character. Arjun was in love with Maan's sister Anvesha.

Pratigya
The serial is still running and one of the famous show on Star plus. Piyush played the role of a lawyer Aman Mathur. It was a negative character. He fought the case of a female protaganist pratigya's father. He won the case and hearts of Pratigya's family. He fell in love with Pratigya's sister Aerushi and during their marriage everyone came to know that he ditched them as he was already married.

Meet Milla de Rabba
Piyush played the role of an Army Major officer kulwant in the show. The female protaganist gets re-married to Kulwant Singh, an army officer. She loves her new husband and her new family. Sadly, she finds that Kulwant has to return to fulfill his duty on the border. He gets shot on his first day on duty. Kulwant is still alive, and somehow he ends up in Pakistan. He didn't realize that he was there until the Pakistani army came in front of him. The army starts asking him what is he doing in Pakistan and what is he here for. When Kulwant is trying to find his way back home he suddenly gets lost; he sees a woman in a veil and she tells him the way. But after that, it seems like she gave him the wrong directions. He finds the woman's husband and thinks that he is a terrorist. Someone shoots him but the woman thinks that Kulwant shot her husband. Kulwant gets shot by the army of Pakistan and he buried and saluted. Geet finds out and doesn't believe that Kulwant died. Then suddenly her kirpan goes missing and then she realizes that Kulwant is no more. She wears white mourning clothing for widowed women. Geet's parents want her to get married to Sukhi but she refuses. She learns that Kulwant is alive. Geet is pregnant. Kulwant is taken from his home to the army headquarters during the welcome party at his home. Everyone is shocked. Where will the fate of Geet and Kulwant's love take the serial?

Hum Ne Li Hai...Shapath
 Piyush plays the role of Senior Inspector Abhigyan in the show. Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath is a show that depicts the story about the lives of three people who are the protagonists. These three people are Abhigyan who plays the role of a Senior Inspector and Gautam who himself is a Senior Inspector and also the son of a Joint Commissioner of Police. Later a new Senior Inspector, Senior Inspector Shaurya will enter in their life, especially in Abhigyan's life. Abhigyan's lost love Suhasini is back and Abhigyan tries to convince her. Suhasini reveals that Shaurya is her son and that's why she is rejecting Abhigyan.

His story as an actor, commences differently. He had no burning ambition to become one, but he was a dedicated perfectionist, in whatever life threw at him. So when acting was presented as an option, Piyush went after it. Indian Television got richer as a result, and Piyush has now become one of the most sought after actors. Having been seen on popular shows like Meet Mila De Rabba, Ghar Ek Sapna. We catch up with the actor between takes:

On your decision to become an actor?
I'll be lying if I said I always wanted to become an actor. But one feedback I did get, based on my physical appearance was that, I should probably try my hand in modeling.  Anyway I showed up in Mumbai in 2001, it was more circumstances that got me here, as opposed to any modeling or acting desire. In fact in those days it was more of living life by the day. But when I did get the chance to model, I decided to go ahead with full preparation.  However, I saw the life of an actor and that attracted me more so I decided to follow that path. The theater group that I joined in Juhu, was along the lines of a traditional guru- shishya system, and in that environment I picked up the skills of acting and dialogues.  My self confidence increased as did my command over language, something that was missing from my persona when I had arrived in Mumbai.  This got me started in the world of  T.V. serials.

On your favorite character that you have played?
The role of a Sardar (Sikh) , Kulwant Singh, in Meet Mila De Rabba. I say that because that got me maximum recognition and accolades and also because as an actor it felt great, when people refused to believe that I was not a Sikh in real life. I must have done a reasonable enough job as an actor, for them to have been so convinced.

What serial are you currently working on?
I play a cop in the serial, Shapath, on a new channel, Life's OK. Initially I was apprehensive on accepting the role, but it is turning out great and I have been working hard, working out and working with cops, to ensure I act as one, in the serial.

What do you do when you are not working?
Fortunately or otherwise I have been working round the clock, ever since I became an actor, but if I do get time, I like to spend it with my girlfriend, Akansha Rawat,

Piyush Sahdev who created waves with his character as Kulwant in 'Meet Mila De Rabba' is all set for his new innings on TV. The actor has taken a break after the show went off air and is now busy toning himself.

"While shooting I could not get enough time to go gym but now I had been regular as have put on oodles of weight," says Piyush.

He is on a strict diet. "I am keeping a close eye on my diet. One needs to be perfect in this industry and I am just trying to be that. Alongside I had been doing voice practice on my harmonium. This helps in modulation of voice which is very necessary," he adds further.

"For the role of Kulwant in Meet Mila De' I have prepared my self. I remember after giving the audition, I got a call from the channel saying that I am the perfect face of the show. This time also I will prepare my self and will appear again on screen but with a different persona," he conveys.

What kind of role are you looking out for? "I am looking out for challenging roles like of a physically challenged. I was recently watching an English movie'Door To Door' which has inspired me to such roles. I would also love to portray the role similar to that of Rajesh Khanna in the film Anand," he concludes.

If there is a profession in the world that is unsafe in terms of career, it has to be acting. I still remember that when I was called for the audition of Meet Mila De Rabba I was immediately selected and the channel told me that they were looking out for someone like me. But when the show was pulled off air I was very hurt because it was doing well.

After it went off air, I was a bit tense and insecure about my future. Earlier when I used to wake up in the morning I used to think what next? But then I realised that if you are talented you will surely achieve your aim. Currently I am just waiting for good offers to come my way and this can be a frustrating time for any actor. In order to stay focused and positive I am utilizing the time to shape up my body. I go to the gym, do yoga everyday because I think that a person is ready to fight only when he is fit.

Though talks are on with some production houses and people will surely watch me soon on the screen, you can't claim to be a part of any show until it starts shooting. I still remember that I was finalised for Jiya Jale after a three month long back and forth exercise. I had done my photo shoot and we had even started practicing for the show. Just before the actual shoot I got a call that the channel had roped some other actor in. Though the producers sided with me, they were helpless before the channel.

Stars shine till the show is on air. Once it goes off air the insecurity arises and you start doubting every promise made to you. I didn't go for the recently held TellyChakkar's New Talent awards because my show had gone off air and I didn't want to face queries like why did it go off air and all such awkward questions. Also I knew that I was not going to win any award though I was nominated because I had no show in my hand at that time and it would go to the actor whose show was still on air.

So far my career has taught me some very crucial and great lessons. Now I think that I won't get cheated again as I was some time back.

I would suggest that youngsters don't struggle unnecessarily. If you have a good job that earns you good money then don't leave that. Step in to acting only if you are very passionate about it.

Piyush sahdev is one of my favourite actors. He is my second most favourie actors. I like him as a human being also. I have very similarities with him. He is a very good human being. I can learn much from him. He inspires his fans. I liked all the roles he played whether be it negative role like Amna or a grey role like Arjun or postive lead role like Kulwant. His role of inspector Abhigyan  is my most favourite character i liked. It is the character i always wanted to see. He is portraying the role very well, only he can do this role aptly. I watch shapath only for him. I started watching it because of Abhigyan in march. I loved the his silent love and adored the quality of the character which is to give value to friendship, dedication towards nation. He looks very smashing. He is a prince charming. He looks exceptionally handsome. I appreciate his career as model. He is the best model with perfect looks i have ever seen. He is very talented and i am smitten by his talent of dance in nachle ve and now i am a fan of his singing as wll, he sings really well. Hatts of to him. Piyush has golden heart and i like his down to earth quality. I have seen and read his all articles and interviews which proves that he is very dedicated to his work. He is undoubtedly a perfectionist. His actions as Abhigyan are miind blowing and i have read in in one of the interviews that he does his actions huimself, that is a big thing for me. Proud of to be his fan.

Actually I liked Piyush before as Arjun in Geet..I loved His Look and attitude there'And then I watched some old videos of Kulwant from you tube and liked him as an army officer'But when Shapath I was surprised to see Piyush's new look as Abhigyan who is totally different from his all other roles.Actually,His all roles are different from each other'Kulwant also has no similarity with Arjun'And I know that Piyush also acted as Aman in Pratigya and Aman was a negative character'And I watched some of Aman's videos as well and I realized that Piyush has a great skill to act in different types of role almost perfectly' And now..As Abhi'Piyush is looking perfect in a cop's uniform..and it is clear from his acting that Piyush prepared himself very well for this role.Abhigyan is the soul of Shapath and Piyush made this character so attractive for all'I like Abhigyan's actions'and his attitude and behavior as a super cop..I almost forget sometimes that Abhigyan is a character played by Piyush as Piyush himself made this  character so real.And I also like the fact about Piyush that he is a  perfectionist and he loves fitness.He has a fit and great body which helps him to portray the role of a handsome and strong cop.Piyush has a great look and amazing acting skill and I got to know from one of his interview that he likes to do challenging roles And I am sure He will appear in some more great and challenging roles in future..And at present I am enjoying the show Shapath only for Abhigyan and will always love to see Piyush in different avatars on screen.LOL

I like Abhigyan character a lot. I like his friendship with Inspector Gautam. I adore his character because he gives value to friendship and always remain silent and make sacrifices. It is insipiration for me. We hardly find such character onh TV these days. Piyush is my second favourite.I like Piyush sahdev because of Abhigyan character. I have not seen his many serials but i recognized him as Arjun-Geet fame when i saw him in Shapath. I watch shapath only for him. I loved his silent love story. I hope Suhasni gets out of his life and i want a new love story and female cop for him. And i wish that shapath never ends so that i will be able to see piyush as Abhigyan. I can't live without seeing him. I wish hm all the best. I hope he reaches on heights of his career. Love him.

Piyush sahdev is one of my most favourite actor. Infact he was my most favourite actor till now. He is very handsome and charming. He is very tallented. I am fan of his since Geet...i liked him as Arjun but now i love him as Inspector Abhigyan. He is my most favourite in sahpath. I watch shapath only for him. I like his actions and romantic sdes. I saw videos of Aman and kulwant...kulwant was very how and Aman was good though it aws a negative character. I like watching him on screen. piyush was my first crush. i like his body and styles. He is very stylish infact most stylish actyor i ahve ever seen. I like piyush as human being, his all interviews and articles are haert touching.
