For most actors, their first film is a special experience. For others, it's plain nightmare.

While some like Ranbir Kapoor manage to shine even in the most appalling film of the year, others like Uday Chopra concealed their lack of skill with success in star-studded fares.

But there are some like Suniel Anand and Deepak Malhotra who in spite of their star son/super model stature miserably failed to find audience favour with either talent or hits.

Indian Tennis star Leander Paes has joined their ilk with his laughable foray into acting that's been ripped off by most critics in their review of last Friday's Rajdhani Express.

On that note, here's a look at the 10 Worst Acting Debuts of Bollywood.

Harman Baweja, Love Story 2050

Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra in Lovestory 2050

Son of filmmaker Harry Baweja, Harman became the butt of several cruel jokes after his launch film, Love Story 2050.

No one cared for this futuristic sci-fi fantasy (which also made it to our worst films of the decade list) or that pink robo-teddy or Priyanka Chopra's shocking red hair and definitely not Harman's demonstration of what a poor man's Hrithik Roshan would be.

Fardeen Khan, Prem Aggan

Feroz Khan launched his handsome beta Fardeen with a lot of pomp and show in a stereotype romance but that wasn't the real problem with Prem Aggan.

Even his best efforts or lavish production values couldn't extract a single expression out of his astonishingly wooden son.

Many a filmmakers have tried and failed since.

Esha Deol, Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche

Esha Deol with Aftab Shivdasani in Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche

With those genes one would expect Dharmendra and Hema Malini's daughter to be a tribute to perfection.

Poor Esha Deol could never live up to the expectations associated with being a superstar duo's kid.

She made her debut in yet another rehash of Hollywood's Sleeping with the Enemy, namely, Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche, which was a box-office turkey and generated a less than lukewarm response towards her in general.

Mimoh Chakraborty, Jimmy

Mimoh Chakraborty in Jimmy

Like father, like son? Not quite.

On one hand, Mithun Chakraborty landed a National Award for his debut Mrigaya.

The superstar's beefy, long-haired son Himbo, er, Mimoh (now Mahaakshay), however, embarrassed himself with a performance that makes Hulk look profound in and as Jimmy.

Luv Sinha, Sadiyaan

Luv Sinha in Sadiyaan

For those who actually saw and survived Sadiyaan, Luv Sinha served like a sorry reminder of what one had just endured.

On his own too, Shatrughan Sinha's son and Sonakshi's elder brother is too limp a screen presence and expressionless in delivery to register as memorable.

Sneha Ullal, Lucky: No Time for Love

Sneha Ullal in Lucky: No Time for Love

Touted as the next Aishwarya Rai for her uncanny resemblance to the famous star, Sneha Ullal made a dream debut opposite Salman Khan in the titular role of Lucky.

Not only did audience thumb down the creepy romance between a school kid and 40-something Khan against the snow-covered Russia, Sneha's whiny and puny performance is a textbook example of NOT CUTE for future Bollywood aspirants.

Tanishaa Mukerji, Ssshhh...

Tanishaa Mukerji in Ssshhh...

With her lineage of extraordinary actresses from Shobhna Samarth (grandmother), Nutan (aunt), Tanuja (mom), Kajol (sister), Rani Mukerji (cousin), one expected nothing short of magic from Tanishaa.

But what one got was Ssshhh..., a badly done whodunit inspired by the Scream franchise, high on a screechy, lackluster Tanishaa.

Only she outdid herself with an even bigger monstrosity called Neal 'N' Nikki but nobody would shush.

Yukta Mookhey, Pyaasa

Yukta Mookhey with Zulfi Syed and Aftab Shivdasani in Pyaasa

Unlike Aishwarya Rai or Priyanka Chopra, former Miss India turned Miss World Yukta Mookhey didn't quite enjoy the same illustrious fate.

Her garish acting, awkward dialogue delivery and hideous styling in the cheesy, long-delayed Pyaasa co-starring Aftab Shivdasani and Zulfi Syed, not surprisingly, failed to draw the crowds.

Sonu Nigam, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani

Sonu Nigam and Sunny Deol in Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani

While Himesh Reshammiya made a hit debuting in front of the screen as well, the more attractive Sonu Nigam didn't have it too good.

Unless working on films that become cult for being unimaginably bad was the terrific singer but lousy actor's prime criteria, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani is much too absurd for the singer to bring up.

Though packed with star names like Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty, this supernatural snake fantasy's real concern is to re-launch Armaan Kohli.

Too bad neither he nor Sonu quite took off.

Sanjay Kapoor, Prem

Sanjay Kapoor and Tabu in Prem

Boney Kapoor's Prem marking the debut of kid brother Sanjay Kapoor and Tabu kick started with a lot of hullabaloo.

But this hugely hyped reincarnation romance took so long to get made and release that by the time it was out, Tabu was already two films old and Kapoor was dubbed the 'Oldest newcomer' of Bollywood and the butt of toilet humor owing to the song, Aati nahi.

The jokes would have probably died if Anil Kapoor's sibling had some of his talent or charisma.

Oh wow!

all were terrible

got to give credit to sonakshi here- she proved she has something in her which is why she is getting so many projects where as her brother despite being shatrugan sinha's son got rejected! not everything is due to family name- many in the list confirm this!
