Y not compare Barfi with other 100 Cr films?? Barfi's Weekend = ETT's 1st day, What Barfi achieved in 4 weeks 100 cr, Ghajini did in just 14 days?? ETT in just 5 days??

Barfi is a complete washout in Single Screens, so?? just a plex hit??

Because both were from UTV and released one on top of each other. They expected Heroine to do much better and that's why they released it within one week and in double screens.

And even if Barfi is complete washout in SS it still managed 100 crores.. doesn't that say a huge lot about how well-liked the movie was to make that huge amount?

Name a single movie which had an autistic heroine and a deaf and dumb hero with no glamor, no dance items with 100 backer dancers.. no fights.. and I will compare Barfi's collection with it.

No.. it is actually you who is contradictory. You say Barfi was hugely hyped and had a lot of promotions.. but then you say that they released it on such few screens because they were not confident of the quality. If they were not confident then why hype in pre publicity?

And I would still call it a masterpiece if it collected 40 crore. For me the final collections don't matter as much as my personal liking. That's why i love tere Naam and hate Ready.

I would say not complete deaf n dumb, but ya Autistic hero SRK in MNIK, it was 90-100 earner back then, probably met with lot more bad reviews in india, otherwise it would have been india's 1st 100 cr film, while in overseas it is 100+ cr Indian film only indian film 2 score 100 cr in overseas.

Chalo u say about quality film doing well in plex speak a lot, how come it is lowest turner in Overseas?? There toh it shud have beaten all Srk movies, nahi?? y only 12 cr??

heroine came up bc it released with barfi this has nothing to do with kareena u claimed ur self that barfi was overhyped more than heroine 😕 which i dont get how

did u see how MNIK was promoted oversees Srk & kajol even rang the damn opening bell for Nasdaq MNIK posters were up in NYC billboards Srk gave interview to CNN for god sake 😆

Without KHAN, Bebo has Golmaal 3 which has more than Barfi collection which was released on lesser screens.

The reason for UTV releasing it on 700 screens coz they knew exactly ke target audience kamm hai as it will not be a universal appealing, only will cater to specific audience which they felt ke are not in excess.

How many Trade pundits tweeted about Heroine's day 1 collection, same ppl who were even tweeting ke dekho 1 ticket aur bik gaya barfi ka 😆
