Okay, so JTHJ did not quiet live up to my expectations. Anyways, it was a nice film not epic though. Maybe that's how our modern love stories are, not epic but sure deep-rooted!

The film was not boring, not at all but yes not impeccable either. The plot was weak, I'd say.

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma made up for those flaws, marvelously! SRK looked young, vibrant and amazing. Loved every bit of him. He's got this amazing screen-presence. He knocked life into Samar!

Anushka was the perfect choice for Akira. No one could have played it better than her. Akira was the driving force in the film apart from Samar. This role's gonna win Anushka several accolades. Kudos!

Katrina played a very pivotal role, however I could not bring myself to like her. She was expressionless and stiff in most of the scenes and you fail to sympathize with Meera. She becomes the weak-link in the story.

The best part- SRK, Anushka and yes of course, the film's got a story! We hardly get a film with a meaningful story these days.

Go watch it. It's a harmless film. You're gonna enjoy every bit of it. D

Don't be too expectant.

PS: I wish Samar could have been paired with Akira! The two shared a magical chemistry on-screen. You fall in love with them, in the first scene you see them together. <3

Jab Tak Hai Jaan grossed around 13.50 crore nett on its third day as per early estimates which takes the three day business of the film to around 45 crore nett.

The film has done good to very good business all over initially apart from Bihar. CI is also on the lower side. The best business for the film has come in South India and West Bengal as these markets have been a one horse race.

The South and West Bengal do tend to drop faster than the traditional Hindi markets so how well it can sustain in Mumbai, Delhi/UP, east Punjab and Central markets over the next three days will hugely important for its long term business.
