PART-1
Sameera: oh, to tum yaha ho Maan
the curly-haired beauty said to her husband's reflection in the mirror above her dressing table. Her gaze slid warily over his tall, rugged frame as he came toward her, then she returned her attention to the open jewel cases spread out before her. A nervous tremor shook her hand and her smile was overly bright as she removed a spectecular diamond necklace from a case and held it out to him.
Sameera: Maan pls help me to wear this.
Her husband's face tightened with distaste as he looked at the necklaces of glittering rubies and magnificent emaralds already spread across her breasts above her gown.
Maan: Don't you feel that your display of flesh and jewels a little vulgar for a woman who hopes to masquerade as a grand lady?
Sameera: what you know about vulgarity Maan
Sameera retorted contemptuously and haughtily she added,
Sameera: ye aaj ka trend hai Maan and Rahul likes it very well. He specifically asked me to wear it to the party tonight.
Maan (sarcastically) : ya definitely wo tumse hi aisa keh sakta hai because he is like you in doing show-offs.
Sameera (taunted): He thinks I'm beautiful.
Maan: He's right!
Maan's sardonic gaze swept over her lovely face with its alabaster skin, slightly tilted black eyes, and full red lips and then commented,
Maan: you are a beautiful, amoral, greedy bitch.
Turning on his heel he started from the room then stopped. His icy voice edged with implacable authority.
Maan: Before you leave go in and say good night to our son. Sahil is to little to understand what a bitch you are and he misses when you are gone. I'm leaving for Mumbai within the hour. I have some buisness meeting there.
Sameera hissed wrathfully: Sahil! tumhe sirf usi ki parvah hai na.
Without bothering to deny it, Maan walked toward the door and Sameera's anger ignited.
Sameera (threatened): when you come back from your business meeting, I won,t be here.
Maan: good
She spat and her voice shaking with suppressed rage.
Sameera: Maan you can't leave me like this. I'm going to tell the whole world who you really are, and then I'm going to leave you. I'll never come back. Never!
With his hand on the door handle, Maan turned, his features a hard, contemtuous mask.
Maan: you'll come back, just as soon as you run out of money.
The door closed behind him and Sameera's exquisite face filled with truimph. She said to the empty room,
Sameera (to herself): mai wapas nahi aaogi Maan because I'll never run out of money. You'll send me whatever I want...
