Khanak has pulled him, she's still sitting on the counter, her one hand holds his hand and another holds hi s face…

Khanak: Shaan mujhe aise kyun lag rahe hain, that your eyes are alright..(biting her lower lip to hide her grin)

Shaan: Khanak tumhe mazak sooj raha hain!! (still eyes closed)

Khanak: ok!!

With the help of her both hands, she slowly opened his eyes and blew the air into his eyes slowly, he buckled, but she held him…

He now opens his eyes slowly, rubbing it more further..

Khanak: (removed his hands) don't do that..(stern)

Shaan: ok fine…

She shakes her head, and gets down from the counter, in a way to move away from him, but she's cornered by him..

Shaan looking straightly at her, she looks up at him, they are few inches away, he cups her cheek, she has her hands in between them, both of them overwhelmed with the emotions, which they share only for each other…

Shaan: you care for me??

Khanak: ofcourse I do!! And I have all rights for that!!

Shaan: yes you have, but why didn't you wait for me Khanak?? Pata hain next morning, when I entered home, the only person I wanted to see was you..but you weren't there…(softly)

Khanak just looks into his eyes, may be reading his pain, which he went through but refused to share it with her, she expected that today he'll be sharing it now….

But he didn't wanted to spoil the moment, by telling those things which actually didn't mattered for him, but he failed to notice that it mattered to her…

Shaan: dekha mood ko spoil kar diya na…Khanak can I order the food from outside??

Khanak breathed deeply, still he had not find his comfort in her to pour out his feelings, she shoved his hands, and walked past him…

Khanak: Shaan tum bhool gaye ho, Aayush abhi abhi teek hua hain…(busies herself in preparing the dinner)

Shaan: oh yeah!! Arrey yeh kar rahi ho, maine kaha na, I'll do it for you…(tries to shove her off)

Khanak: Shaan please, aaj nahi, im tired, and I don't have time for the silly games…(may be a bit furious)

Shaan: hadd hain yaar!!! Tum khelo toh who entertaining hain, agar main khel raha ho toh silly hain, this is not fair Khanak!!

Khanak seriously can't believe, that he's joking, and she is furious, she looks up at him, his eyebrows start to dance, she's taken aback, ends up smiling at him….

Khanak: Shaan, tum teek toh ho na??

Shaan: arrey mujhe kya hua hain, im all fine..(stretches his hands)

Aayush: Mom!! Mujhe bhook lag rahi hain!! (shouts from the entrance of kitchen)

Both of them turn to him, Shaan walks over and picks him up..

Shaan: aapka BEN10 hogaya??

Khanak busies herself with the kitchen work…

Aayush: nahi lekin bhook lagi hain..(makes a face)

Khanak: Aayush, aapne aaj pura din kya kiya??

Aayush: kuch nahi..main toh sirf papa ko…(is stopped by Shaan, Shaan opens his eyes widely and shakes his head to not to share with her anything)

Aayush looks at him, Shaan is shaking his head….

Khanak: kya hua?? (she has her back towards them)

Aayush: kuch nahi..(looking at his papa)

Shaan is relieved, smiles widely at him, and winks at Aayush…Aayush has no idea, but stills hold on to his papa's plan..

Finally, she had to do all the work, all that Shaan and Aayush did was talking and making fun, Shaan had sung and danced with Aayush in his arms, Khanak had laughed seeing them both, at one point he had held her hand and twirled her around, she had smiled, Shaan had started his moves with Aayush…

Khanak just looked on, she missed them in her llife, but there was something that was going on, she can't remember Shaan dancing in the kitchen, all he used to do was mess with her and he would love to get closer to her, she knew that her decision would take some time so that they'll be perfect for each other, but somewhere, she did feel that something was not right on the place, what was it??

When we are confused, or when we are not able to decide what's correct or not, all we need to do his speak with someone, who know us well, but for now Khanak feels lonely, she wanted to speak, throw out her frustration, but there's no one, she thinks…

She wanted her parents at this time very badly, may be if her parents were with her, her marriage wouldn't have taken a beat like this, she wanted guidance, she wanted someone to speak for her, who knows her very well, but this time it's not Shaan, who could do this work for her, she wanted someone at her side, but who??

She did find a good friend in Khushboo, maybe not that close, but Khushboo supported her and Khushboo would let her to cry out, but now she wanted someone to yell at her and tell what need's to be done…

She's completely exhausted both physically as well as emotionally…

They had sat for the dinner, Shaan and Aayush had helped only in arranging the plates..Shaan did notice that she had gone silent once again, 'chal beta Shaan shuru ho jao' speaks to himself…

Shaan: Khanak kal tum free ho??

Aayush is seated in between them, Shaan and Khanak opposite to each other…

Khanak: haan, kyun?? (looks up at him)

Shaan: Aayush wanted to roam about, and Nisha also told me that you never went around the city, so its time!! Hum sab log kal chalthe hain..(makes the decision)

Khanak: hum sab log matlab??

Shaan: matlab, me you Aayush and Nisha!! (shrugs)

Khanak: lekin main nahi aa rahi hun…

Shaan: madam, humne aapse poocha nahi hum aapko bata rahe hain, kyun Aayush??

Aayush: yes!! Mom please…

Shaan: come on Khanak…

Khanak: Shaan tum kabse inn sabse interested hone lage??

Shaan: arrey hum toh chutti par hain, kyun Aayush??

Aayush: yes papa!! (brims and starts to eat his food)

Khanak just looks on, Shaan speaking of roaming about, that surprised her, more than that him taking decision on her, she plays with her food….

Shaan: hmm…lets start with the clock tower, I heard it's a good place for shopping, what say??

Khanak just looked on, shocked, surprised and amused…
