First, its not a testament to anything except her great contacts in the industry. Kareena only shot to fame once Preity and Rani slowed down.
Its called PR. The same way, Sonam won't be going anywhere for a long long time despite her flops. Being a star kid is not enough. You have to suck up to the right people and more importantly keep blowing your own trumpet, which Kareena has been great at from the start. Sonam doesn't have the talent or the the hits but she has PR and a big mouth, just like Kareena.

KWK is a weak example. Its a bunch of people from the KJO/YRF camp talking about each other. Holds no weight.

Other than an Aamir and Salman movie what big hit does Kareena have since 2002?

Does she have any noteworthy performances?

Has she ever carried a film by herself? JWM was a weak opener that got through because of WOM.

Kapoor tag has kept her in the game, as much as you want to deny it, or no one would take her tantrums, attitude problems, fights with co-actress' and just plain rude behavior with one and all. She doesn't have BO success until now, she doesn't have awards, she has a pile of flops, she doesn't have landmark performances. What exactly does she have other than the best PR, link ups, controversies and a big mouth?

She'll be the first actress to be forgotten from the era. Even PC has massive hits but she has them balanced with noteworthy performances.

Veer Zaara was WRITTEN for Aishwarya. Simi Garewal herself said it to Aish in that Rendezvous show. But thanks to Salman-SRK-Yashraj she lost the film

And I donno if ur trying to be insolent by saying the heroine had to wear clothes. lol. Dhoom 2 was one of the only films where she had worn modern type of clothing

All that crap about losing films because of SRK are rumours spread by Aishwarya's PR to defame SRK. In reality Aishwarya wasnt cast as she was a poor actress. Ash had gotten desperate just like Bebo is desperate today after she tried hard to get VZ but was rejected for her poor emoting skills. She was trying very hard to take Kajol's place as SRK's leading lady and couldnt take the rejection.

SRK even had an issue with PZ since their Dil Se days but he didnt have a problem working with her in several films including VZ.
