What if Ashutosh had married Mallika after BB left him? He was very lonely after all and felt abandoned. She was the only constant in his life. What if he had clung onto her?

What if Nidhi had walked into his life after this? What do you think would have happened? It is purely a hypothetical situation...but I thought it might be interesting to debate this!

i do not think he would have survived 12 years to meet nidhi...either he would have been in some asylum or jail for killing his sole mate😆

when u live with a person their true color comes to the fore 😆..these two are the most miserable characters i have ever seen...

very difficult to envision that scenario Sujatha...if he met Nidhi after he married Mallika and then fell in love with her, KP would have portrayed Mallika as the injured party and the whole story line would become like KHTV thats currently being telecast at 10 pm...🤢

I believe this has scope for a very interesting show...where every character is right in its own way...this is what KPji promised us but failed miserably at delivering...when you are able to understand and empathize with a character and its circumstances, irrespective of the moral stand you may take...

A man who is locked in a loveless marriage, a woman who knows her husband does not love her but loves him madly and a young woman who comes into their lives only to fall madly in love with the husband...

Why don't we ever get to watch mature, nuanced stuff? WHy does it always have to be in black and white?

its not just about the story line na Sujatha...its about how its taken and showed to us...KPji keeps harping about his grey characters when the fact of the matter is he doesn't know how to show those grey characters...and thats why when i envision the concept of Ashu marrying Mallika, and the story taken up by KPji...it sends a shiver down my spine...

@sujatha ...for that the writer has to be open minded ,free of prejudices and arrogance

from day one you could see his insistence on showing mallika in all her lights...and in that process he destroyed the love story and sadly could not do justice to mallika's character as well..there was soo much of scope with this story as we...if handled maturely...a person scorned and rejected need not be pure evil ...there were ways in which he could have handled this same triangle...

we should shop in the same super market he does for maturity then maybe all this would be digestible...

I agree...it is about the treatment more than the story...and with KPji at the the helm, this would have been a recipe for disaster!

and yes ..if such a scenario had happened...KP would have penned the love story surrounding mallika ashu much more passionately ,maturely, anything that has mallika in it would have gotten complete attention from KP

and nidhi would have been the air head dimwitted outcast...
ohh wait she still is the dim witted outcast as per him..today's generation
