I read that...but my question was what if Ashutosh had already been locked in a loveless marriage with Mallika when Nidhi came into his life? It is purely hypothetical and am just trying to understand what kind of lives they would have led.

Sujata: ashu hs always maintained that he only see mallu as frnd nothing more than that.. Even if smeone forces him to marry mallu, he wudn't hv..

Right Harshal,Ashu rejected Mallu's proposal after Sue instigated Mallu to propose but suppose if Baba didn't leave Ashu n he wd want Ashu to marry Mallu,it might happen...den i must say Baba's leaving in a angle saved Ashu's life..
