One thing i didn't understand...how is it possible that shiv has not fallen for ashi till now? 😕...i mean they r so good frens...they knows each other so well..ashi is so sweet too 😳...also she likes shiv...then why shiv is still not noticing him? what he wants from his life partner exactly? bcoz i think ashi is almost perfect.. 🤔 and i think the line is very true that "friendship is the first step of love"...then why?

AnShinas don kill me pls 😛...i am just asking..its not like that i want Shiv-Ashi..no never!!..i want shiv to fall for anandi...but at the same time i am feeling little bad for ashi too..bcoz she is very sweet 😊

there is no process to fall in love...

he spent so much time with ashi..doesnt mean...it is a path to fall in love..

love may happen or may not...

it cant be described!!

well he is noticing...but he respects her feelings without hurting her...thats his charm😳

excellent question!! Its hard for us to speculate unless we hear his internal monologue as to what he himself feels (or we see one of his dreams 😆 just like we've seen anandi's dream).

If I have to speculate --

1. it could be that he wants someone with a strong commitment to social issues perhaps -- as that is a strong value for him -- and ashi does not seem to have that.

2. It could also be that he doesnt perceive her to be the type to adapt to india, so though he likes her as a person, he foresees that this wont work in the long term future as she may get restless and insist that they both move back to london together... even if she says it is okay now and she will get used to india.

All friendships don't necessarily lead to love! Unrequited love does happen in these cases. I think Shiv likes a traditional girl like Anandi. May be he wants someone who can adjust with his family, his country and respect tradtions. I am not saying western girls cannot do it, but Ashi has not yet shown him the inclination. So! Remember he is called a desi boy!

Like Shiv mentioned, Aashi will have a hard time adjusting to Indian culture and social values...and since Shiv is very very close to his Mom, he would like a girl who is not only good for him but also good for the family as well.

Aashi is very good at everything but her lack of traditional and cultural values are a big drawback...She is a great friend...but not wife material in Shiv's opinion.

The other thing is maybe at one point they were really close because of the situational closeness -- working in an in-house residential MBA program is very intense -- one has to do group work, group assignments etc. and there are common stresses and common group outings and class outings -- it is very easy to get thrown together.

After that when that situation is over, one moves on... and the friendships sort of drift apart...because they were situational...

for shiv, he may have moved on ...he now has new situations, but ashi may still be living in the past.

hummm...I think both can be the reason but may be the first one more! 🤔 may be he has not thought about marriage or to go into a relationship right now...as he wants to dedicate himself for the development of the rural India? i think this also may be the reason...but anandi is so into the social work..so may be for this reason he has started liking her! he himself has told this to anandi last week..we both have same goal...

you know, for a man that handsome, forget ashi, I am sure there are a 100 other girls and their dadisas vying for his attention.

But I like to think that our anandi is a unique person, and he has never met anyone like her so he is intrigued by her, and she represents a different kind of woman from the one he's ever known...
